Dear Parents, I will be your child’s 6B homeroom teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. This is an exciting time for us all, and we look forward to great learning and positive experiences among our students, parents, and staff. Our engaging and participatory curriculum will allow your child’s natural curiosity and creativity to flourish.

In the following pages, I have provided information about supplies, lunch, snack, arrival, dismissal, and more. Please be sure to read through it all.

Student Safety and Supplies For students, safety is our number one priority, so please send your child prepared with his/ her daily supplies as we will not be sharing personal items. Since we use lockers, please remember to send your child with a locker shelf, which is essential for helping the students organize their books and supplies throughout the day. Locks are not necessary.

Arrival/Dismissal Procedures Students can be dropped off at the main lobby from 7:40 am. Please be punctual as Morning Assembly will begin promptly at 8:00 am in the Middle School Gym. From 3:45 pm, students line up and are dismissed from the side gate until 4:00 pm. After 4 pm, they will be sent to After Care.

For both arrival and dismissal, you can drive up to the curb to drop off and pick up your child without parking. Please stay in your car and do not leave it unattended. No parents will be allowed past the gate for security reasons.

Uniforms Students are required to wear regular school uniform daily (including Health class), except on gym twice a week, when they wear their gym uniforms.

Students will receive their schedules on the first day of school.

Every student should come to school in regular school uniform on the first day, Wednesday, September 9th.

SCHOOL UNIFORMS & DRESS DOWN POLICY Uniforms are required for all students enrolled in Cedar Hill Prep School, grades K -8. Wearing a school uniform helps students focus on learning, develops self-esteem, promotes respect and builds school spirit. Please help us ensure your child complies to our uniform policy daily. Failure to do so may result in disciplinary action.

Each student’s uniform must fit properly, not to exceed one (1) size below and beyond the correct size.

Stockings or knee-length socks must be worn with skirts and dresses in the Winter.

Boots may be worn to school in the winter months, laced (if applicable) with pant legs covering the tops of boots. Low-cut boots may be worn with skirts for ladies. Combat, mid-calf, and knee-high boots are not permitted.

Blackbaud Parent Portal Cedar Hill Preparatory School utilizes Blackbaud as the central parent portal. Through this platform, families are able to access and upload essential student records, including contracts, health records, permission slips/forms, and attendance information.

Steps to Access Tuition Management: 1. When Logged in the Blackbaud Portal, click on the Resources tab in the top navigation bar.

2. Select the Tuition Management tile - Your account and invoices will appear on the screen.
