Cedar Hill Prep Enhances Middle School Science
Education with New Microbiology Lab Equipment
Cedar Hill Prep is excited to announce a significant upgrade to our Middle School Science Lab with the addition of advanced microbiology equipment. These new tools provide students with handson opportunities to explore the microscopic world, bringing science to life in meaningful and engaging ways.
The upgraded lab now includes professional-grade equipment such as a laminar flow clean bench for sterile experimentation, a temperature-controlled incubator for growing microorganisms, a UV sterilization unit for safe and effective sterilization, and a highspeed centrifuge for separating biological samples. These are the same types of tools used in real-world research and medical laboratories.

At Cedar Hill Prep, our Middle School Microbiology Lab places students in the top tier of STEM education nationally. While most middle schools introduce life science through textbooks and basic demonstrations, our students engage in authentic, hands-on microbiology using professionalgrade equipment typically found in high school, university, and medical labs.
From culturing microorganisms to practicing sterile techniques and analyzing biological samples, students gain early exposure to real scientific methods in a safe, structured environment.
