I am so excited to begin this journey through 3rd grade with you! Our explorations will channel us through our imaginations as we investigate, analyze, and create. What can our 3rd graders accomplish this year? The possibilities are endless!

In addition to being the 3B homeroom teacher, I will also be the Grade 3 Math and Science teacher. Mrs. Haynoski will be the Grade 3 Language Arts/Social Studies teacher and 3A homeroom teacher.

Student Safety and Supplies

Our students’ safety is our number one priority, so please send your child prepared with his/her daily supplies as we will not be sharing personal items.

Please include the following items in your child’s backpack each day:

1)Personal hand sanitizer and pocket tissues

2)A refillable water bottle, lunch, a healthy snack, and eating utensils.

For our new families, when parents come to school on September 5th for New Parent Orientation, you may bring your child’s supplies in a bag labeled with their name.

For our returning students, you can bring your supplies on September 6th , the first day of school. Please make sure your supplies are labeled.

We will be getting lockers this year, but no locks are required.

Arrival/Dismissal Procedure

Students should be dropped off outside the side gate from 8:00 –8:15 am. Please be punctual.

At 3:30 pm, students are dismissed from the front of the Main Building. After 3:45 pm, they will be sent to AfterCare.

For both Arrival and Dismissal, you can drive up to drop off and pick up your child without parking. No parents will be allowed past the gate for security reasons.

Uniforms

Students are required to wear the regular school uniform daily (including Health class). Two times a week, on designated Gym days, they wear their gym uniforms.

Students will receive their schedule on the first day of school. Every student should come to school in the regular school uniform on the first day, Friday, September 6th.

Summer Homework

Students, when you come to class on September 9th, please remember to bring your summer homework. Summer Homework Assignment

Please familiarize yourself with Gradelink. This will be your Parent/Teacher portal for academic grades and report cards. You can also set up parent alerts to facilitate your child’s optimal learning.
