Annual Events & Fundraisers Used Uniform Sale Cougar Gear & Creek Boutique The used uniform sale takes place the first part of August and allows parents/students to come shop used uniforms and spirit wear at a discounted price. Used uniform donations are collected in the main office during the month of July. Cougar Gear & Creek Boutique are online uniform and spirit wear stores that offer new designs yearly for parents to order. These stores offer a wide variety of items that ship straight to your home once ordered. The links to order usually go out via email around the end of July.
Charleston Wrap Charleston Wrap is our yearly gift and wrapping paper sale. It offers a wide variety of gift bags, customizable wrapping paper, and other wrapping options. There are also holiday gifts and snacks that are sold. All orders are done through a link that is sent out via email during the month of October, and items are shipped directly to your home.
Staff Smiles The staff smiles program focuses on showing our faculty and staff how much we appreciate them during the school year. Cedar Creek families can donate to the program and Parent Club uses the funds to provide monthly “happies” for the faculty/staff. These come in the form of coffee trucks, sonic drinks, catered lunches, etc. You can give to the staff smiles program by visiting www.cedarcreekschool.org/donate
Annual Events & Fundraisers Holidays in CedarTown Holidays in CedarTown is an annual shopping extravaganza held at the Ruston Civic Center every November. It involves 3-days of holiday shopping from market vendors to our community members to jump start their holiday shopping. It features special events such as after hours shopping with hors d’oeuvres and pictures with Santa. Due to the enormity of this project, there are several points listed below that volunteers often help with. All proceeds from Holidays in CedarTown go towards the Cedar Creek Parent Club.
Ticket Sales: Volunteers help manage the sale of tickets to shoppers upon entering the market. Hospitality: Volunteers help with the purchasing of all refreshments for the vendors. This group prepares the hospitality carts and makes the carts available to the vendors, as well as help organize lunch for the vendors each day. Decorations: Volunteers can help decorate designated areas of the Civic Center the days leading up to the event and help clean-up said areas after the event ends. Public Relations: Volunteers assist in the positive promotion of the event by helping with things such as local advertising and social media.

Annual Events & Fundraisers Faculty Christmas Luncheon & Faculty Christmas Project The Faculty Christmas Luncheon is held each December in honor of the entire faculty. Volunteers are asked to help set-up and serve the meal, as well as decorate the tables. This event usually takes place on a half day of school leading up to Christmas break. The Faculty Christmas Project is a mid-year service project that benefits our faculty and was originally developed to eliminate the need to purchase individual teacher gifts. The committee collects voluntary donations from the parents of elementary, middle school, and high school students, and these funds are presented in the form of a Christmas bonus to faculty members at the Faculty Christmas Luncheon.
Book Fair The Book Fair is a fundraiser that is held in our MS/HS Library around each February. Volunteers are needed for approximately 1-2 weeks to set-up the fair, carry out daily organization, and check-out shoppers. Volunteers normally sign up in 2 hour increments when working, but feel free to volunteer as much time as you can. All funds raised from the book fair directly benefit the libraries on campus.
Annual Events & Fundraisers Celebration Auction Cedar Creek’s annual Celebration Auction is held every Spring. This is the school’s largest fundraiser, raising on average $145,000+ each year. The money raised always goes towards a special need or program at the school. Examples of this in the past have been faculty bonuses, renovations to the multipurpose, new technology, etc.This event has taken place both in person and virtually, and it has been very successful both ways. Due to the enormity of this project, there are several points listed below that volunteers help with:
Acquisitions: Volunteers help ask for and collect auction items from local businesses. Sponsorships: Volunteers help reach out to previous event sponsors, as well as find new sponsors. Class Projects: Volunteers assist with the organization and completion of elementary class projects for the silent auction.
Fund-The-Faculty Raffle In 2021, the Fund-The-Faculty raffle replaced what was previously known as raise-the-paddle. The Fund-TheFaculty raffle gives families the a chance to win a year of FREE Cedar Creek tuition! All of the funds raised through this raffle go directly towards bonuses for our faculty and staff members.

Our Celebration Auction has a new, fun theme each year. In years past, we’ve done Back to the 90's, Fiesta en mi Casa, Party in Paradise, Rolling on the River, Born on the Bayou, and Viva Las Vegas!
Annual Events & Fundraisers Teacher Appreciation Week Teacher Appreciation Week is held every year in early May. Every day for an entire school week, faculty and staff are treated to yummy food, gifts, and are showered with love from their students and their families. Teacher appreciation week requires volunteers all 5 days of the week in various capacities, including: morning distribution of snacks and gifts, assistance with daily gift card drawings, setting up and serving lunch to our faculty, etc.
End-of-Year Faculty Luncheon Similar to our Christmas luncheon, the End-of-Year Faculty Luncheon treats the faculty and staff as we celebrate the end of another successful school year and beginning of Summer. Volunteers are asked to help set-up and serve the meal, as well as decorate the tables. This event usually takes place on a half day of school leading up to Summer break.
