Parent Club

Cedar Creek Community, First and foremost, thank you for an incredible year at Cedar Creek! The Parent Club accomplished so much this year, and it’s all thanks to your time, support, and dedication. Whether you helped with Charleston Wrap, Holidays in CedarTown, the Book Fair, Teacher Appreciation Week, or any of our other events—you made a real difference. These events not only bring our community together but also help us raise important funds that go straight back into supporting our school. This year, we kicked things off with a “Faculty Fiesta” back-to-school party, as well as elemenary and middle school back-to-school paries. We also provided Christmas bonuses and service awards for our staff, and kept the energy up all year with quarterly “happies” like Sonic drinks and coffee truck visits. One of our biggest goals this year was launching the new Teacher Request program. This initiative allows teachers to submit requests for classroom items—big or small—that enhance learning for their students. Thanks to your support, we were able to fund a wide range of items, including: An egg incubator for 1st grade Standing desks for High School History games for Middle School 2 Large toaster ovens for Family & Consumer Science Atlases for 4th grade Manipulatives for Kindergarten French books for Elementary Compasses for High School Agriscience 4 Cameras for Digital Graphics Noise makers and a keyboard for music Miniature exercise equipment for the ELC ...and so much more! Beyond the classroom, Parent Club directed over $11,000 from our Charleston Wrap fundraiser to helping improve the ELC playground. We also purchased a new American flag for our main flagpole and provided a flag and new flagpole for the Multipurpose building. To every volunteer who gave their time and heart this year—thank you. I’ve had the joy of meeting so many incredible people through Parent Club, and I’m truly grateful for the friendships and community we’ve built. If you haven’t had a chance to get involved yet, we’d love for you to join us next year. There’s a place for everyone! Thank you again for your support of the Cedar Creek Parent Club and for helping make this such a special place for our students and staff. Sincerely, Jesse Bullock - Parent Club President
