We also miss our guests and look forward to gathering again for art workshops, adult retreats, and personal respite at Cedar Valley and all of the UCCI’s sites. If you are looking for a safe way to gather before everything reopens, might you consider volunteering with us? Copper Enamel 3-D Garden with Beth Ratledge
Saturday, April 10 | Two sessions: 8 a.m.-noon or 1-5 p.m. Learn the fascinating art of copper enameling. Beth will guide you through cutting and ling owers and adding powdered glass to your design before kiln ring and assembling. Each student receives individual attention. No previous experience required. $55 per session includes all supplies with exception of frame.
Watercolor Excitement with Ed Fenendael
May 14, 15, and 16 | 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Push your color sense, challenge your design and composition skills, and allow yourself to expand and explore. Each day begins with a short lecture and demonstration. Emphasis is on individual attention. Supply list provided at time of registration. $390, overnighters; which includes workshop, two nights lodging, and all meals. $200, commuters; which includes workshop and daily lunch.

Introduction to Stained Glass with Wendy Dallman
Saturday, May 22 | Two sessions: 9 a.m.-noon or 1-4 p.m. In this fascinating and popular introductory workshop, Wendy will guide you in creating a beautiful copper foiled stained-glass heart using the Louis Comfort Ti any method. Each student will receive individual attention. No previous experience required. $45 per session includes instruction and all supplies.
How to Paint Water with Susan Ploughe
June 11, 12, and 13 | 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Explore re ections, ripples, calm surfaces, waves, waterfalls, glistening surfaces, and shallow transparent pools. Learn the characteristics of water and practice di erent painting techniques to convey di erent types of water features. Demos will be in oils, but students may also use acrylics or pastels. $250, commuters; includes workshop and daily lunch. $460, overnighters; includes two nights stay and all meals.
