As you step into your A2 year at Cedar, take a moment to reflect on how far you have come and all that you have accomplished in your young life. You have grown tremendously, overcome challenges, and shown resilience. Now, the final and most exciting chapter of your Cedar College journey begins. This is YOUR time! An entire year to achieve academic excellence, to lead with courage, to dream big, share precious experiences with your friends and to leave a meaningful legacy at Cedar College.

Whether it’s through academic excellence, acts of kindness, strong leadership, or quiet determination, this is your moment to lead and inspire others around you and for years to come.

and breathe a little. As you begin your final year at Cedar, I want to take a moment to say how proud we are of the journey you have made so far—and how excited we are to walk alongside you through this next chapter.

A Level results are here, and I know many of you may be feeling a mix of emotions. Just remember—your grades don’t define who you are. They are only one part of your journey. What matters most is how you grow, how you move forward, and the person you are becoming.

In the classroom, on the playing field, around campus, in societies and clubs, or through community service – whatever you do, let all your actions speak with integrity, joy, commitment and determination – embodying the ethos of Cedar College and the rich tradition of the Cedar Knights that you follow.

This year will be full of deadlines, decisions, and transitions. But I hope it will also be full of laughter, learning, and the kind of moments that shape you in quiet but lasting ways.

Make this year count. Step forward with pride and confidence.

Cedar Summer Programmes SAT Prep Classes The conclusion of the CAIE season marked the beginning of another pivotal moment for students: the SATs. Cedar has always catered to every academic requirement a student might have, and the SAT prep classes are proof of that.

Prep classes are held to guide students through the entire SAT syllabus. At the same time, they are regularly assessed using past SAT papers to enhance their efficiency and understanding.

The classes are held thrice a week and span over two hours for maximum productivity. Despite the summer break and preps for the AS welcome, the classes are being held diligently, and teachers are doing their utmost to prepare students for what is sure to be a challenge.

Core Classes

The classes are tailored and planned to cover all key components of the SAT: Mathematics, Reading and Writing.

As such these classes are not merely tutoring but a step towards encouraging students to achieve their goals.

Cedar College began its annual Liberal Arts Core Programme on July 8th, 2025. Students from both the DHA and PECHS campuses joined in to explore new and exciting ways of learning.

Proud Pakistani Ayesha Habib's Journey to the Space Studies Programme 2025 Ayesha Habib has made history by becoming the first Pakistani selected for the prestigious Space Studies Programme (SSP) 2025, hosted by the International Space University in South Korea. This programme brings together top space experts from around the world.

The Space Studies Programme is a nine-week course that covers many different parts of space science, including satellite systems, space law, engineering, and planetary science. Ayesha will work with scientists, astronauts, and engineers from around the world, gaining hands-on experience and learning about advanced space technology.

By being part of this global programme, Ayesha is not only achieving a personal goal, but she is also helping to show the world that Pakistan has talented people who can contribute to space research. Her achievement highlights the potential of Pakistani youth and encourages more students to follow careers in science and technology.

Ayesha is from Mandi Bahauddin, a small town in Punjab. Her journey proves that with hard work, passion, and dedication, anyone can achieve their dreams, no matter what the circumstances. Her success is an inspiration for young people all over Pakistan, especially those from rural or less-known areas.

Ayesha Habib’s story is a symbol of hope and determination. She has shown that dreams really can come true with effort and belief. Her success makes all Pakistanis proud and serves as a shining example for the next generation to aim high and reach for the stars.

4x4 Competition As part of the team that participated in the 4×4 YAS In-School Competition in the UAE, the entire experience can be summarised into one word by participant Aden Shafiq: unforgettable.

The night before the competition, the team worked very hard and stayed focused.

Everyone helped each other and showed great teamwork to finish everything in time. Their energy, commitment, and cooperation made the preparation special.

On the day of the event, their efforts were clearly seen. The judges admired their work, calling the presentation “perfect” and praising the portfolio for being excellent. They were also very impressed with the creativity of the car design, saying it was one of the best they had seen. The team’s dedication was rewarded with 6th place overall and 3rd place in development, which was a proud moment for everyone.

What made the experience even more meaningful were the memories they created together. The team enjoyed cheerful conversations, quick dress-ups, latenight talks, and lots of laughter. These moments built a strong bond of friendship and made the journey unforgettable.

In the end, the competition was not only about winning prizes but also about learning, growing, and celebrating teamwork. The experience gave the team both achievement and memories they will always cherish.

Farewell, Class of 2025 12th June was a night to remember for the Class of 2025, who were officially signing off from Cedar College, with an unforgettable farewell held at the Andalusian Banquets. The event was marked by the sadness of bidding farewell to Cedar, yet also carried an air of excitement for new beginnings.

Cedar commemorated the Knights’ journey with this special event, allowing friends to reminisce and celebrate over a delicious banquet.

Accompanied by festive music, and a photo booth to mark the bittersweet farewell from Cedar, yet eager to grasp the new chapter of their lives ahead.

As we look back and celebrate the achievements that this remarkable batch has accomplished, we look forward to everything they will build beyond these walls.

Cedar College is proud to have been a part of their story, and we wish our Knights all the very best.

Graduation 2025, DHA Clad in their blues and yellows, the most anticipated day had finally arrived for the aspiring DHA graduates of 2025. One by one, they marched in, each stride taken with pride, echoing and rhythmic beats of the triumphant music singing in the background. The smiles on their faces stood as a salient testament to their joy, for this was the glorious moment they had all worked towards.

The formalities commenced with a beautiful recitation of the Holy Quran by Sir Nabeel Sheikh,followed by its edilfying translation. Sir Raheel Masood, our esteemed principal, then officiated the event with one of his coveted speeches.

Leaving no one unacknowledged, he thanked the parents for their unwavering commitment, the faculty for their dedication and guidance, and the students for their undisputed hard work. In his words, “The vision of Cedar has been to show our students the balance of life, in the world of education and personal development.”

Then came the highlight of the day, the awarding of scrolls. With each name called, a resounding echo of applause followed. On every graduate’s face was a mixture of relief and joy as they stepped onto the stage. The air grew damp with bittersweet emotion with each passing second. As one alumna expressed:

“It’s overwhelming! Honestly. I feel so proud, but also strangely hollow.

The version of me that started this journey isn’t the same one that’s walking off the stage, and that’s a lot to digest.”

With all the Knights proudly armed with their diplomas, a few teachers chose to leave a parting gift-a heartfelt voice memo, congratulating their achievements and wishing them the very best in their conquests on future battlefields.

The ceremony ended by celebrating those who reached the highest academic honors. The Dean’s List and Honorary Certificate recipients stood as a symbol of hard work and excellence. Their journey was not easy, but their results spoke volumes. Yet every graduate, with or without a medal, carried their own story of growth. And as they stepped forward into the unknown, they did so not just as students but as innovators in the new world.

Graduation 2025, PECHS As an MC for the PECHS graduation ceremony at the Andalusian Banquet Hall, my experience of it was a little different from those attending the event.

Amidst the hosting chaos, ruffling from one page to another, calling out the graduates’ names and I would glance up to notice just how proud every parent and teacher looked at the students going up on the stage. Their smiles told stories; stories of their hard work and many sleepless nights. It was like watching the lyrics of "Out of the Woods" or maybe referencing "You're on Your Own, Kid" by Taylor Swift in motion. They had done it. They survived A-levels and even excelled in them.

Adding to the celebratory atmosphere of an amazing night filled with lights, decor, joy, and pride was a speech delivered by a Cedar School fifth-grader.

His speech was impressive, and so was his courage to speak in front of so many people. Hearing his inspiring words was truly heartwarming. It is remarkable what Cedar does for so many individuals.

As the ceremony drew to a close, we approached the part when the graduates were allowed to throw their caps in the air - a magical moment. The Principal, Mr. Raheel Masood, asked the parents to face their children and witness them reaching a major milestone in their lives. At that moment, as a silent observer, all I could see were parents holding phones in their hands, recording their children with the biggest smiles on their faces. Love, warmth, and most importantly, pride echoed in the hall with cheers from the graduates. Truly an exceptional feeling - I do not think I can ever forget this.

As the guests began to leave the hall and the graduates mingled with their families, exchanging hugs and congratulations, the air was still filled with the euphoria of achievement. I took a moment to reflect on the journey that had led to this point - the countless hours of studying, the struggles overcome, and the moments of success celebrated. It was clear that this graduation was more than just a ceremony; it was a celebration of all their highs and their lows, a testament to their resilience and determination. The support of their families and teachers had played an important and unforgettable role in their success, and it showed in the way that everyone came together to celebrate this milestone. Even as the event came to an end, the memories created that night would linger on - in the photos taken, the stories told, and the sense of accomplishment that filled every heart. It was a night that would be remembered for years to come, a night that marked not just an end, but a promising beginning for these graduates.

As an end note, “I know these will all be stories someday, and our pictures will become old photographs. We'll all be somebody's mom and dad, but right now these are not just stories.” - Go forth and achieve your dreams Class of 2025!

Cedar Alumni, Class of 2025 Adeena Tahir Music has always been a gateway of expression for Adeena Tahir, from being the previous C Sharp Head to performing in numerous events. Yet, her talent extended far beyond the college stage, as she continued to seek out new platforms to grow, express, and share her music with wider audiences.

On 14th October 2024, she gave her first audition for the Renaud Synapse Unplugged concert, which was called “Unplugged: Ab Chup Nahi,” a one of a one-of-a-kind concert for youth mental health, which is an initiative that encourages young people to take charge of advocating mental health awareness. And on 16th November, she took the stage by storm, using music as a medium to connect with her audience. Her performance not only impressed the audience but also added to the important conversation about mental health. Through creative expression, she helped break the stigma and spread awareness. Her work was also featured on Geo News, which made the achievement even more special.

Whilst exploring her passion for music, Adeena continued to pursue her creative side by participating in a world mural painting project by Kensuke Miyazaki, a visionary initiative that uses painting to support children and communities in need around the world. Miyazaki intended to create a project to create murals all over the world and bring together people in the local community. His projects include murals in Kenyan slums, a national hospital in East Timor, collaborations with UNHCR in Ukraine, a women’s prison in Ecuador, joint projects with Médecins Sans Frontières in Haiti, a children’s hospital in Pakistan, work with children with disabilities in Kenya, and murals at Palau International Airport. On 15th November 2022, Adeena was allowed to use her creative expertise for a meaningful cause, a mural aimed to inspire community and hope.

“Aside from the time I spent with my friends, I think Reader's Theatre was a favorite! I performed alongside my fellow C# kids, and it went perfectly!!” - Adeena Tahir’s favorite memory from her time in Cedar College Cedar College is incredibly proud of all that Adeena has accomplished over the years and wishes her the very best as she continues her journey. We are confident that she will go on to achieve even greater things and continue to make the Cedar community proud!

Message from Publications Welcome back to another year with Cedar Publications!

We begin the term with the newsletter, The Bulletin, Volume II, issue i.

We would like to thank you for the incredible response to and appreciation of our publications last year. The Publications Team remains committed to providing consistent, engaging, and informative content for our Cedar Knights, through newsletters, telegrams, periodicals and so much more!

The Bulletin will once again be released weekly, offering timely updates on everything happening around Cedar written and designed entirely by the Publications Team.

The Telegram showcases creative work, including poems, pieces, write-ups, and artwork, celebrating the artistic expressions of our student community.

The Cedar Compass fosters intellectual discourse, promotes critical thinking, and highlights the academic talents of the Cedar community.

This year, we continue to strive towards our mission of diving deeper into the world of investigative journalism and storytelling. Publishing this volume marks another step forward, and we are excited to see how far we can go.
