Nasakmit sa Cebu City Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO) uban ang Mambaling Police Station ang pipila ka ilegal nga mga pabuto atol sa ilang pagsusi sa mga mamaligyaay og pabuto sa South Road Properties (SRP) niadtong Disyembre 28, 2021.

Matod ni Atty. Jared Limquiaco, pangulo sa BPLO, nasuta nila sa ilang hilom nga pagsusi nga adunay mga mamalitay nga mag-drive through lang aron mopalit unya pagkahuman manirado na dayon ang tindahan sa pabuto.

Subay sa direktiba ni Mayor Michael Rama, gidid-an ang si bisan kinsa ang pagbaligya og pabuto.

Subling nipahimangno ang mayor sa katawhan nga dili ona mogamit og mga pabuto ilabi na pagsugat sa bag-ong tuig aron malikyan ang mga disgrasya sama sa sunog.

Kini kay naa pay mga basura unya wala pa mahibalik sa normal ang tubig sa dakbayan. Cebu City Mayor Michael Lopez Rama received today a P10 million donation from the National Housing Authority (NHA) to help the victims of the su- per typhoon Odette (Rai) rebuild their homes.

A representative of NHA handed over the check to the Mayor during his convergence meeting with department heads and private sector representative who were discussing the progress of restoration efforts within this city at the social hall of the legislative building.

The super typhoon ravaged the city, the rest of Cebu and parts of the Visayas and northeastern Mindanao on Dec. 16, that toppled and uprooted trees and utility poles and tore down roofs and other structures. Many were left homeless, while others are still inconvenienced at this time.

Mayor Rama personally supervised the evacuation of residents even when strong winds started to batter the city, checked their conditions in the aftermath, and has since been overseeing restoration efforts.
