Our entire CDP family welcomes you to our third annual CDP Spring Brangus Sale at Draggin’ M Ranch. As always, we have selected an outstanding group of bulls and females — both registered and commercial — for your consideration.
Each year, our goal is to continue offering our friends and customers the very best cattle, raised with care and backed by proven genetics. Through disciplined selection and a strong history of performance, the quality of the cattle we offer continues to improve year after year.
When you purchase our cattle, you are making more than a financial investment, you are investing in our genetic program. Our program is built on solid, time-tested genetics, and that foundation is evident in the cattle we are proud to offer in this sale.
The CDP family stands behind every animal we sell and guarantees each one to be a producer. Should you encounter a problem, we are here to support you. Our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction remains our top priority.
Time spent studying the sale catalog and walking through the pens is time well spent. If you have questions, please reach out to our ranch managers or our marketing team. We are here to help.
We are also offering an exceptional group of commercial cattle, including first-calf heifers as well as bred and open heifers. All calves are sired by CDP bulls, and all bred heifers have been bred to CDP calving-ease bulls. These heifers are highly fertile and designed to work in your program for many years to come.
Cattle will be available for viewing Thursday and Friday. The registered female sale will begin at 5:00PM on Friday, followed by a steak dinner. The bull sale will begin at 11:00AM on Saturday morning. After a brief lunch break, the commercial female sale will follow.
Thank you for joining us for our 2026 Spring Sale. We look forward to visiting with you about our cattle, our breeding programs, and our proven genetics. Your success matters to us, because when you succeed, we succeed.
We look forward to seeing you March 27–28.

Cattle will be available for load out immediately after the sale and proper settlement has been made on purchases. If you wish to load out at a later date please note that when you check-out. Arrangements can then be made to have your cattle ready when you arrive.
You can save shipping and handling charges by picking up semen that you will need for your breeding season, at the CDP Brangus sale. Representatives from CDP Brangus will be available to assist you with ordering. We would ask that you keep your orders to increments of 5’s and 10’s so that we can avoid excessive handling of semen. Please contact Craig Green at 870-834-1976 to place your order prior to the sale to assure we have enough semen on hand and available sale day.
The cattle will sell in sale order. We will have a printed sale order prior to the sale, in the office area. Please note that cattle will not be going through a ring and will be presented on video only
Any animals that are confirmed as carriers of a genetic condition such as DD, developmental duplication, will be listed above their pedigrees as DDC. Any animals we are still waiting test results on will be listed as DDPC. All other animals have been either confirmed free of known genetic conditions by test results or from pedigree analysis.
We are extremely dedicated to providing our customers the genetics needed to help positively impact their bottom line. We will not compromise the integrity of our data. Our utmost goal is to provide the information that will successfully identify the genetics most needed in your particular operation. The information provided by the IBBA was provided at weaning and yearling by the breeder for computation. We believe in EPD’s, but fully realize that they are only as good as the information provided to the association. Inaccurate weights and faulty contemporary groups lead to poor information and bad selection decisions.
Please realize that these cattle were in different contemporary groupings at weaning; therefore, it is not fair to compare birth weaning and yearling weights from one herd to another. A wide range of environments are represented in this offering and thus have affected those weights, plus different management comes into play, i.e. creep fed vs. not creep fed. Within herd weights and ratios were good when that was the only information we had. However, EPD’s are a much better indicator of genetic potential and are the only way across herd comparisons can be made. Also, we have listed the current non-parent Brangus breed average EPD’s in the catalog for your reference and comparison on how individual lots compare to the average of the breed in any trait.

CDP Brangus will work with customers on delivery of cattle in an effort to have the cattle delivered to customers as soon as possible after the sale. However, if you are not ready for the cattle at this time we will maintain the cattle at the ranch for a period of time until you are ready for them. A nominal fee of $3.50 per day will be charged plus any veterinary charges incurred will be billed. Cattle will be maintained on a growing ration in grass traps. Cattle become the buyer’s responsibility immediately after the sale. CDP Brangus is not responsible for insurance costs or death.
At the conclusion of the sale or as soon as possible following the sale if purchases are made via video or sight unseen agreement; please notify the sale staff as to specific instructions about cattle delivery. If you request our assistance the CDP Brangus staff will make every effort to help coordinate the most reliable and economical trucking available. Trucking expense will be the responsibility of the purchaser. If you prefer to make your own arrangements trucking representatives will be available sale day to discuss your needs or we can place you in contact with reliable truckers.
Please note that animals you purchase become your responsibility at time of purchase. CDP Brangus nor any of the breeders involved in this sale take responsibility for animals that may be injured in transport. Insurance is available for those who would desire that coverage.
Sight Unseen Guarantee when Purchased through CDP Brangus Personnel
If you are unable to attend the sale and want to purchase cattle sight unseen, please call any of the below listed sale personnel to assist you in making your selections. Give us a call prior to the sale to describe the type of female(s) or bull(s) you want and let us know your price range(s). You pay only the bid price, just as if you were bidding in person. We will call you after the sale to confirm your purchase(s) and confirm your method of payment. Your purchase will be delivered to a central delivery point when your payment is received. You decide whether you like the animal(s) upon delivery. If you don’t like them, you don’t own them. It’s that simple. All sight unseen purchases made through CDP Brangus personnel come with a 100% SATISFACTION GUARANTEE or we will refund your money.
At the conclusion of the sale or as soon as possible following the sale if purchases are made via video or sight unseen agreement; please contact Craig or Grady to arrange for payment and trucking. CDP Brangus will make every effort to help coordinate the most reliable and economical trucking available. Trucking expense will be the responsibility of the purchaser. GE-EPDs are a more accurate way to estimate an animal’s genetic value than traditional EPDs, especially for younger animals. They use DNA test results, also known as genomic tests, along with other data to improve the reliability of an animal’s EPD.
EPDs
Expected Progeny Difference (EPDs) is the best estimate of an animal’s genetic merit for a particular trait. It takes into account the animals’ own performance compared with its contemporaries and the performance of its relatives compared against their contemporaries.
Birth Weight (BW) EPD predicts calf size and calving ease.
Weaning Weight (WW) EPD predicts preweaning growth potential.
Yearling Weight (YW) EPD predicts overall growth potential. Milk EPD predicts the maternal contribution to weaning weight of the calf through milk production, behavior, immunity and other maternal environmental factors.
Total Maternal (TM) is a reflection of a sires daughters milking ability, and growth potential of their calves when compared to another sires daughters.
Scrotal Circumference
(SC) EPD predicts not only testicular size of male progeny but also daughters onset of puberty.

AGE/ CLASSIFICATION

Terminal Index (TERM) combines birth weight, weaning weight, milk production, post wean gain, ribeye area, marbling, and back fat EPDs into a single number. The index is expressed as a standard deviation from the breed average, meaning that bulls with a +2 index are two standard deviations above the average. Higher numbers are superior to low numbers.
Fertility Index (FERT) combines heifer pregnancy, stayability, days to first calving, mature cow weight, and back fat EPDs into a single number. The index is expressed as a standard deviation from the breed average, meaning that bulls with a +2 index are two standard deviations above the average. Higher numbers are superior to low numbers.
Ribeye Area (REA) EPD predicts total muscle.
Intramuscular Fat (IMF) EPD predicts % of intramuscular fat which is highly correlated to marbling. *REA and FT are primary components of USDA YG and marbling is the primary component of USDA QG.
Individual performance data is provided as supplementary information as EPDs provide more reliable evaluation of genetic differences of animals.
Actual Birth Weight (BW) are reported.
Weaning Weight (WW) are adjusted to 205 days.
EPD PERCENTILE RANKINGS
Yearling Weight (YW) are adjusted to 365 days.
Scrotal Circumference (SC) are adjusted to 365 days.
Average Daily Gain (ADG) is a measure of growth rate on a high energy diet. It is positively associated with feed efficiency.
Ribeye Areas (REA) are adjusted to 365 days and ratioed relative to contemporaries.
Intramuscular Fat (IMF) are adjusted to 365 days and ratioed relative to contemporaries. IMF is highly correlated to marbling.
Brangus EPDs are calculated by the Livestock Genetic Services and are part of a program called the National Cattle Evaluation (NCE).
Individual ranking relative to the entire breed population on a specific trait, represented in the form of a percentage, with 1% being best and 99% being worst.
In the bull portion of this catalog we have included a disposition score for every Brangus & Ultrablack bull selling. 5 stars being the best and 1 being the worst. Please note the explanation of our scoring system and contact CDP Brangus with any questions you may have.

Here at CDP Brangus we are always ready to adapt and adjust to the times in terms of growing and feeding our bulls, ultimately with our customer’s best interests in mind, which in turn, benefits us as seedstock producers. Longevity, soundness, and fertility are all factors that we feel must be taken into account when developing our bulls so that you, as our consumer, get an end product that can be turned out into your cowherd and have the ability to service your cows and come out of the breeding season having maintained his body condition score. This will, in turn, allow him to recover and be ready to be turned out again in the next season with very little additional supplementation, year after year. We have tried an assortment of feeding programs throughout our journey and have landed on, what we and many others feel, is the answer to all of our bull development needs.
Keith Cagle at Rose Bud Feeders brings 25+ years of bull development experience to the table and has tweaked and adjusted his ration with assistance from the Caldwell family through the years until they have totally perfected the bull feeding game. The fallout rate of the CDP bulls since we started feeding with Keith has been the least in our history of growing and selling bulls and we’re confident that you will continue to experience the same trend when you get your new CDP bull’s home.
The ration that these bulls are developed on is a grass silagebased feed with commodities added to balance the ration for protein, fat, and TDN with the goal set to have the bulls gaining an average in the 3-3.5 pounds per day range across the feeding stage until they become yearlings. A mineral pack is also added to every mix to ensure that their vitamin and mineral intake is consistent and meets their development needs.
The post-weaned bull calves, already having received their vaccinations before arriving at the Rose Bud Bull Test Center, will immediately begin their transition onto the silage diet for a 30-day warm up period before being weighed onto gain test. After they are fully transitioned onto the silage ration, they are weighed and evaluated as they begin their 90 day gain test where they will remain in their contemporary groups until its completion.
At the conclusion of the 90 day test, the bulls are weighed, scrotal circumference measured along with Donnie Robertson taking carcass ultrasound measurements. Once the collected raw data is all turned in to the Brangus Association, adjusted weights and measurements are used to further evaluate each and every bull for quality, structural soundness, and disposition, making sure that every standard and benchmark is met or exceeded. The bulls are sorted and grouped according to type and kind with quality and uniformity in mind and will be monitored from then on for any issues that may arise and will remain in these groups until sale day.
One of the things that we take pride in at CDP Brangus is the ability for our bulls to be handled by any means necessary. Meaning that we want them to experience every possible handling method that they could possibly see before arrival at their new home. These bulls are handled on foot, both alone and as a group, horseback, with dogs, as well as four wheelers and side by sides and they have all passed the test, which will allow you to take comfort knowing that these bulls will handle for you when the time comes to move them.
The work has all been done for you and we’re confident in our process and we think you will enjoy reaping the benefits of that process.

Because Genetics Matter. Because Premiums Matter.
At CDP Brangus we believe calves should be valued for more than just weight, hide color or breed. Your genetics are invisible at sale time, unless they’re verified. That’s why we have partnered with Top Dollar Angus, the first genetic verification program built to reward both ranchers and feeders.
Turn your investment in elite genetics into real returns. Feeders DO recognize and reward the real genetic performance behind cattle. It reduces their risk, increases their predictability, and improves ROI. Faster growth and feed efficiency = lower costs. Consistent carcass traits = higher grid returns.
HOW IT WORKS IN 3 SIMPLE STEPS:
1. Top Dollar Angus evaluates your calves’ genetics
• Gather your EPDs: Top Dollar Angus can help retrieve these EPDs and $ Indexes of current and past sires to complete the free evaluation
• Gather your DNA test results
2. Promote Your Sale if Enrollment is Confirmed
• This is accomplished via direct calls and texts to 40-60 feedyards, E-blasts to 200+ industry contacts and social media and digital exposure
3. Capture More Value - verified status and larger exposure earns attention, in turn capturing more value.
WHAT YOU WILL SEE:
Verified Cattle = Premiums, Predictability, Profit

PROVEN DONOR
TTT MS Cash Flow 30H6 represents the kind of donor cow that serious cattlemen appreciate when the sale season ends and the production record begins. A big-bodied, bold-ribbed female, 30H6 reads stout from end to end with the kind of depth of flank, sweep of rib, and natural dimension that judges reward in the show ring and commercial producers demand in the pasture. She stands down on a big, correct foot, carries genuine width through her chest floor, and ties it together with a level top and expressive muscle pattern that hints at the ribeye genetics stacked behind her pedigree. As a daughter of Cash Flow, she blends phenotype with numbers, charting breed-leading growth projections while maintaining the maternal look expected from the Brangus breed. Her genetic profile indicates added payweight at weaning and yearling, while the carcass side of the equation is backed by big ribeye potential that feeders and

CB MS Business Line 60G43 is a donor female that blends practical phenotype with a production record few cows in the Brangus breed can rival. Built on a moderate frame score, she is the kind of stout, functional female that cattlemen appreciate, wide based, square built, and fundamentally correct in her structure. She carries genuine body mass with depth of rib, capacity through her center body, and the kind of natural thickness that suggests the muscle and carcass merit behind her pedigree. From the ground up she is sound, balanced, and durable, the type of cow designed to remain productive for the long term. Her greatest influence, however, is written in the success of her progeny. 60G43 has established herself as a cornerstone donor by producing an impressive lineup of influential herd sires including Silencer, Payweight, Path Forward, True Balance, Cartwright, and On Point. Through these sons

packers alike recognize as profit drivers. More importantly, 30H6 is built for the long haul. She is the kind of easy-fleshing, fertile donor that settles early, breeds back on schedule, and maintains body condition while raising a heavy calf year after year. That longevity and reproductive consistency make her the type of female that quietly builds programs. She also carries the weight of the renowned “30” cow family, one of the most dependable female lines in the program. For generations, the 30s have been known for productivity, udder quality, and the ability to generate revenue both in the pasture and in the sale ring. From herd bulls to replacement females, the 30 family has repeatedly proven that when you invest in their genetics, the dividends follow. She records 27 progeny so far in her young life with many more in the tank and in-utero, but her most notable offspring to date is the Cash Line bull that now resides with the Cheney family in Florida where we’re expecting great things.

and numerous daughters now working in seedstock programs, she has generated more than $275,000 in revenue within the Cavender program alone, with additional impact continuing to grow as many of her progeny are now being developed at Bennett Brangus. Fertility and longevity define her as a brood cow. She consistently settles, produces, and maintains condition, demonstrating the kind of reproductive efficiency that elite donor programs are built upon. Genetically, she brings breed-leading growth projections and the kind of big ribeye carcass genetics that add value from pasture to rail. Backing her performance is the legendary “60” cow family, long recognized for consistency, productivity, and revenue generation. For generations, the 60 line has produced herd bulls, donor females, and sale highlights, proving time and again that these genetics deliver dependable returns.

The CDP Brangus HBO breeding program focuses on providing high-quality genetics to enhance herd performance. This program features a selection of top-tier bulls known for their strong traits, including growth, fertility, and overall health. It offers cattle producers a chance to improve their breeding initiatives with superior genetic lines, ultimately boosting livestock productivity and profitability.
The HBO period lasts about 90 to 120 days. For an additional fee of $750, purchasers are guaranteed a bred heifer, confirmed pregnant, or they will receive a full credit for the original price of the heifer if breeding is unsuccessful. Essentially, you’re assured either a bred heifer or a credit for an extra $750 on top of the cost of the open heifer you bought.
This program is especially beneficial for breeders who may not have the capability to AI breed their heifers at home. The HBO program consistently results in a high rate of heifers bred safely to recognized CDP Brangus AI sires.
The HBO option is available for any virgin registered heifer between 13 to 17 months old sold at a CDP Brangus sale, lots 45-103 are

eligible.
Heifers will be managed at Draggin’ M Ranch and AI bred to a CDP Brangus herd sire of the buyer’s choosing. Craig or Grady are available for breeding recommendations, but the final choice will be left to the buyer.
CDP Brangus covers the costs for pasture, feed, minerals, routine vaccinations, synchronization medications, and parasite control. Semen costs will also be covered if a CDP Brangus bull is used. A quality clean-up bull will be provided after AI at no additional charge.

The heifers will be managed similarly to other virgin heifers at Draggin’ M Ranch. The HBO program costs an extra $750 on top of the heifer’s price, and this fee, along with the full purchase price, must be settled on the day of the sale.
Once heifers are palpated and confirmed safe in calf, they will be deemed breeders with no further guarantees from CDP Brangus or its partners. Registration papers will be transferred to the new owner upon confirmation of pregnancy. If a heifer does not palpate pregnant, the buyer will receive a credit for the purchase price only, applicable to future CDP Brangus sales, excluding the $750 HBO fee or the heifer’s salvage value.
Buyers are responsible for picking up the heifers within two weeks of being notified of palpation results. Arranging transportation from Draggin’ M Ranch to the buyer’s ranch is the buyer’s responsibility.
CDP Brangus partners and cooperators are not liable for any deaths or veterinary expenses incurred by heifers in this program. We strongly recommend that buyers consider purchasing mortality insurance for their heifers.
Customers interested in the HBO program are encouraged to discuss the details with a CDP Brangus representative before the sale. After the sale, we invite all customers wishing to enroll their heifers in the HBO program to meet with Craig or Grady to finalize details, ensure we have updated contact information, and address any questions.

His numbers position him to sire calves that come easy and grow fast, a combination that drives commercial profitability. On the carcass side, he brings true front-end value, scanning a 16.75 adjusted ribeye area and posting an impressive 5.95 adjusted IMF. Those figures reinforce his ability to add shape, dimension, and quality grade simultaneously. With his pedigree strength, phenotypic power, and balanced data profile, DMR Empower 535M81 has a bright future in the Brangus breed as a seedstock herd sire. His genetic package and eye appeal also position him as a strong candidate for semen interest, offering long-term value and marketing potential for progressive operations. Selling 1/2 semen interest and full possession. Draggin’ M Ranch retains 1/2 semen interest.

DMR Admiral 196N is a powerful young herd sire prospect backed by elite genetics and proven cow family strength. He is sired by DMR Admiral 535K13, the standout bull that commanded $75,000 to Hicks Ranch and continues to validate himself through the quality and consistency of his progeny. That kind of sire power immediately places 196N in rare company, but his maternal side is equally impressive. The 196 cow family carries a long-standing reputation for longevity, consistency, and revenue generation. We acquired this line through the respected Chimney Rock Cattle Company program, where it originated from the influential Wynne Ranch program. For generations, the 196 females have been known for structural integrity, fertility, and their ability to raise heavy, high-quality calves year after year. It is a cow family built on productivity and staying power, traits that drive long-term profitability. Phenotypically, 196N is stout made, bold ribbed,

and wide based with genuine muscle expression and center body mass. He combines herd bull presence with structural correctness and athleticism. His sheath design is ideal clean, tight, and built for longevity in real-world conditions. Just as importantly, he offers a true 5-star disposition, making him a pleasure to handle and manage. His performance ratios reinforce his quality: a 108 weaning weight ratio, 111 yearling weight ratio, and an impressive 110 ribeye area ratio. His EPD profile stacks up with top 10% weaning weight and an elite top 4% yearling projection, along with top 15% Total Maternal genetics and a +7 Milk EPD. He also ranks in the top 10% for ribeye area, adding carcass value. With elite pedigree, balanced data, structural integrity, and herd bull presence, DMR Admiral 196N is definitely one to watch. His combination of performance and phenotype also positions him as a strong candidate for semen sales and long-term breed impact. Selling 1/2 semen interest and full possession. Draggin’ M Ranch retains 1/2 semen interest.

WITHDRAWAL PERIODS AND RESIDUE WARNINGS:
Cattle must not be slaughtered for human consumption within 15 days following last treatment with this drug product. Not for use in female dairy cattle 20 months of age or older, including dry dairy cows; use in these cattle may cause drug residues in milk and/or in calves born to these cows or heifers. Not for use in beef calves less than 2 months of age, dairy calves, and veal calves. A withdrawal period has not been established for this product in pre-ruminating calves.
User Safety Warnings:
Not for human use. Keep out of reach of children. If accidental eye contact occurs, flush eyes immediately with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention. If wearing contact lenses, flush eyes immediately with water before removing lenses then continue rinsing for at least 15 minutes. Do not eat, drink or smoke while handling the product. Wash hands after use. Take care to avoid accidental self-injection. If accidental injection occurs, seek medical attention and provide product package insert to medical professional. To obtain a Safety Data Sheet(s), contact Zoetis Inc. at 1-888-963-8471 or www.zoetis.com.
Animal Safety Warnings and Precautions:
Use of levamisole in cattle treated in the last few days with cholinesterase inhibitors such as organophosphates or with morantel may enhance the toxic effects of levamisole. Use together with caution. Destruction of Hypoderma larvae (cattle grubs) at the period when these grubs are in vital areas may cause undesirable host-parasite reactions including the possibility of fatalities. Killing H. lineatum when it is in the tissue surrounding the gullet may cause bloat; killing H. bovis when it is in the vertebral canal may cause staggering or paralysis. These reactions are not specific to treatment with VALCOR™ and can occur with any successful treatment of grubs. Cattle should be treated either before or after these stages of grub development. Consult your veterinarian concerning the proper time for treatment. Follow recommended dosage carefully. Reproductive safety has not been evaluated in bulls intended for breeding.
ADVERSE REACTIONS:
This product is likely to cause swelling at the injection site. Tissue damage at the injection site may also occur, including possible granulomas and necrosis. These reactions have resolved without treatment. Local tissue reaction may result in trim loss of edible tissue at slaughter. A single death attributed to clostridial infection associated with the injection of VALCOR™ was reported in a nonpivotal effectiveness study. Observe cattle for injection site reactions. If injection site reactions are suspected, consult your veterinarian. This product is not for intravenous or intramuscular use. Hypersalivation may be observed; however, this reaction will disappear within a few hours. If this condition persists, a veterinarian should be consulted.
Contact Information:
Contact Zoetis Inc. at 1-888-963-8471 or www.zoetis.com. To report suspected adverse drug experiences, contact Zoetis Inc. at 1-888-963-8471. For additional information about reporting adverse drug experiences for animal drugs, contact FDA at 1-888-FDA-VETS or http://www.fda.gov/reportanimalae.
TARGET ANIMAL SAFETY:
Margin of Safety: Subcutaneous administration of VALCOR™ was well tolerated in calves as young as 3 months of age at 1, 2, or 3 times the recommended dose. Dose-dependent post-dose hypersalivation was seen in all treated groups compared to the controls. All cases of hypersalivation were mild, transient, and resolved without further medical intervention. Dose-related injection site reactions were observed, and those in the 1X group resolved between 21 and 28 days post injection. Injection site reactions were primarily swelling which resolved between 21 and 28 days post injection. Findings from the injection sites included swelling, edema, inflammation, muscle necrosis and fibrosis.
Female Reproductive Safety: The reproductive safety of VALCOR™ was established in two studies with female cattle. First, a single dose of VALCOR™ was administered subcutaneously at 3 times the recommended dose at times coinciding with folliculogenesis, implantation, or organogenesis, and had no effects on conception, calving, abortion, and stillbirth rates, and post-natal viability up to 30±2 days post-calving. There were no congenital abnormalities. The only test article-related change was an increase in incidence and duration of swelling at injection sites compared with control, but all swellings eventually resolved. In a second study, a single dose of VALCOR™ administered subcutaneously at 3 times the recommended dose at either early or late gestation had no effects on calving, abortion, and stillbirth rates, and post-natal viability up to 30±2 days post-calving. One control calf and two treated calves were born with congenital abnormalities and did not survive. These were not determined to be test article-related. The only test article-related change was an increase in incidence and duration of swelling at injection sites, but all swellings eventually resolved. Not for use in bulls intended for breeding over 1 year of age, as reproductive safety has not been evaluated.
HOW SUPPLIED:
VALCOR™ is available in 100 mL, 250 mL and 500 mL multi-dose, rubber-capped glass vials.
STORAGE, HANDLING, AND DISPOSAL:
Store below 25°C (77°F). Do not expose to light for extended periods of time. Do not contaminate water by direct application or by improper disposal of drug containers. Dispose of containers in an approved landfill or by incineration.
Approved by FDA under NADA # 141-553

Safety has not been evaluated in breeding bulls. Use with caution in cattle treated with cholinesterase inhibitors. This product is likely to cause injection site swelling; tissue damage (including granulomas and necrosis) may occur. These reactions have resolved without treatment. See brief summary of Prescribing Information attached.

All bulls selling in this sale have passed a thorough and stringent BSE (Breeding Soundness Evaluation) by Dr. Mike Pallone of Pallone Veterinary Hospital. Each bull selling has passed Dr. Pallone’s tests and is considered a satisfactory potential breeder. All bulls are guaranteed as breeding bulls through the first breeding season from the date of purchase. Please keep in mind that we expect the bull(s) to be treated with proper animal husbandry and that they are young bulls and require some additional management compared to mature bulls. Proper management should include the following requirements: 12- to 15-month-old bulls at time of sale are utilized in a ratio of one bull to 15 cows and 16- to 20-month-old bulls one bull to 20 cows. Furthermore, if these requirements are not adhered to or these bulls are placed in service or housed until time of service with mature bulls, then we will not stand behind this breeding guarantee.
If a problem does arise, please contact CDP BRANGUS, CRAIG GREEN at 870-834-1976 as soon as any question occurs as to a bull’s breeding soundness. CDP BRANGUS will evaluate the problem, consult with a veterinarian if needed and if replacement is required will replace with a bull of equal quality. If a replacement bull is not available CDP Brangus will issue a credit in a future CDP Brangus sale. Please contact us before shipping any bulls. Shipping an animal, you feel is unsatisfactory before contacting CDP Brangus will void our guarantee.
If a bull is claimed to be a non-breeder, the seller reserves the right to retain the bull for a six (6) month trial period to demonstrate breeding ability. If the bull is proven to be a breeder during this period, the claim shall be considered fully resolved and the buyer shall resume possession of the bull. All transportation expenses associated with returning the bull to the buyer shall be the responsibility of the buyer.
This is a partial breeding guarantee and is not designed to mirror that of an insurance policy to stand death loss, debilitating physical injury, etc. If full morbidity or mortality coverage over and above this CDP Brangus breeding guarantee is desired, we encourage you to contact Marcus Creasy, Adams & Creasy Insurance, at 501-206-2281.
Cattle will be available for load out immediately after the sale and proper settlement has been made on purchases. If you wish to load out at a later date please note that when you check-out. Arrangements can then be made to have your cattle ready when you arrive.
You can save shipping and handling charges by
picking up semen that you will need for your breeding season, at the CDP Brangus sale.
Please note that cattle will not be going through a ring and will be presented on video only.
Cattle will
be maintained on a growing ration in grass traps.
If you prefer to make your own arrangements that can be done as well.
Each animal will sell to the highest bidder. The auctioneer shall settle any dispute as to bids, and the auctioneer’s decision shall be final.
Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser immediately upon sale. The seller shall continue to provide care until the animal is loaded for shipment or for 48 hours following the sale, whichever occurs first. After 48 hours, a maintenance fee of $3.50 per head per day will be assessed until pickup.
All sales are cash unless prior credit arrangements have been made with the seller or CDP BRANGUS. Payment is due within 30 days of sale date. Accounts not settled according to these terms will be subject to interest charges assessed by CDP BRANGUS.
Buyers may purchase cattle through CDP BRANGUS personnel without viewing the cattle in person. For sight-unseen purchases, the buyer has the right of inspection at delivery. If the animal is deemed unsatisfactory, it may be reloaded on the delivery truck at no obligation to the buyer. Transportation expenses in this instance shall be the responsibility of CDP BRANGUS.
If the purchaser is unable to view the animal upon delivery, the buyer shall have one (1) week from delivery to determine satisfaction. If returned within this period, the buyer may, at their expense, return the animal to CDP BRANGUS for a refund of the purchase price. DV Auction purchases are excluded from this guarantee.
A transferred certificate of registration will be furnished for each registered animal within a reasonable time frame after proper settlement.
Interstate health papers suitable for interstate shipment will be provided in accordance with all applicable federal and state regulations.
