Orrick’s Racial, Social & Economic Justice Fellowship offers a new way of making a social impact and inspiring rising star talent.

Nathelie Ashby is one of more than a dozen experienced Orrick lawyers who have served as Racial Justice Fellows since we launched this program two years ago. She is embedded this year with Common Future, an innovator in deploying capital to entrepreneurs in underserved communities.

“I really want to be making an impact in things that are important to me and for people who look like me,” she said. “This fellowship gives me a chance to do that and to use my legal expertise and my legal skills to make a difference.”
