About the University
Colorado Christian University is located in Lakewood, Colorado, a suburb of Denver. Founded in 1914, CCU is the flagship Christian university in the Rocky Mountain region. A leader in higher education, the University is consistently ranked in the top two percent of colleges nationwide for its core curriculum by the American Council of Trustees and Alumni.
CCU offers undergraduate and graduate degrees for traditional and adult students through its College of Undergraduate Studies and College of Adult and Graduate Studies. More than 9,000 students attend the University on the main campus or online through CCU Online. In addition, over 6,000 high school students throughout the U.S. take dual credit and online dual enrollment courses through CCU Academy. CCU is an NCAA Division II university in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference (RMAC). Colorado Christian University is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. The University is also a member of the Council for Christian Colleges and Universities, the Council of Independent Colleges, and the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities.
