GROUP GOES BEYOND TO EXPRESS CREATIVITY

LOCAL textile and fibre artists from community group Stitching and Beyond have been busy weaving baskets, stitching quilts and sewing clothes for the biennial Out of Hand Exhibition. Stitching and Beyond, which has about 136 members across Tasmania including in the Glenorchy municipality, was established in 2005 to celebrate the work of artists who explore innovative and diverse approaches to fibre and textile arts.
