Belonging 2026 was one of those evenings.
Neighbors, businesses, volunteers, community leaders, and longtime supporters gathered with a shared belief that every person deserves to feel seen, valued, and connected. The evening was a reminder that meaningful change begins when a community chooses to care for one another.

Every story shared this evening pointed to the same truth: lives are changed when people refuse to look away.
Instead, they choose compassion over judgment, hope over fear, and community over isolation. That's the spirit of Belonging, and it's the reason our work continues to grow. Together, we're creating a place where more of our neighbors can experience safety, stability, and the opportunity to thrive.

As Senator Mike McGuire shared throughout the evening, the strength of our region has always come from people showing up for one another. That spirit could be felt in every conversation, every story, and every act of generosity.
Together, we celebrated the resilience of our neighbors and the partnerships that continue to open doors and strengthen communities across Northwest California.

Long after the lights are turned off and the tables are cleared, the impact of this evening continues.
Nearly half a million dollars will help provide shelter, meals, immigration legal services, behavioral health support, and pathways to stability for thousands of our neighbors throughout Northwest California.
