THE 11TH ANNUAL FALL FESTIVAL IS BACK!

There’s something special about an autumn weekend in Tahoe Donner. The crisp, cool air dances through the changing canopy of aspen leaves. Pumpkins are carved, apples are crunched, and priceless family memories are made. For the perfect fall day, celebrate a season of harvest and togetherness at the 11th annual Fall Festival at Tahoe Donner! Bring the whole family to enjoy a mountain celebration sure to inspire that warm, autumn glow.

ACTIVITIES

For a quintessential autumn day, find all your favorite activities waiting for you outside Northwoods Clubhouse. Miguel Sloane, Tahoe Donner’s director of operations, has worked at this festival since the beginning and has helped to expand the number of activities at each event. He shares, “The Fall Festival has grown so much over the past 11 years, and it’s exciting to see how it brings the community together year after year. At our last festival, we had over 1,000 people visit throughout the day, so we make sure to have activities for all ages and interests. There really is something for everyone!”

As each year gets bigger and better, you can expect familiar favorites like a bounce house, face painting and a candy apple station in addition to special events like a climbing wall and slide, a costume contest and even a doggie dip adventure for your four-legged friends in Northwoods Pool!

In addition to a wide variety of family-friendly activities, adults can take in exciting live music while enjoying a beverage or two outside Pizza on the Hill.

FALL FESTIVAL ACTIVITIES

COSTUME CONTEST

Halloween is coming early this year when you take your festival fun to the next level and participate in the Fall Fest Costume Contest! You must be present to enter. Prizes will be awarded to all winners. Good luck!

TASTY FOOD + BEVERAGE OPTIONS

Take a bite out of the season with delicious food and beverage options right at your fingertips. Pizza on the Hill will be open for the whole family to enjoy delicious pizzas and Oktoberfest-style pretzels with beer cheese dip. For a meal on the go, grab a brat or hot dog to munch as you explore.

Of course, no fall festival is complete without sweet treats like cotton candy, popcorn and caramel apples!

THE RETURN OF THE SEASON’S BIGGEST EVENT

More than just the autumn breeze is in the air this season – the buzz of the Fall Festival’s return has reestablished a sense of community and family fun for the first time since 2019. Jesse Strzok, assistant director of operations, is most excited for the festival’s return to simply enjoy the good times it brings. “We’ve missed being able to host events in our community and have that family-friendly vibe at Tahoe Donner, and being able to put on the Fall Festival again is this fantastic opportunity for families to make memories this season in one of the most beautiful places in Tahoe.”

Tickets go on sale Sept. 8, so be sure to secure a day of family fun in advance! Limited tickets will be available day of the event.
