Welcome to fall As summer gives way to the beautiful colors and crisp mornings of fall, there is still plenty of time to enjoy all that Incline Village has to offer. Whether you’re spending a day at the beach, getting out on the water, exploring our hiking trails, or simply enjoying the beauty of Lake Tahoe, fall is a wonderful time to experience our community. As we look back on another amazing summer, I hope you, your family and friends created lasting memories at our many IVGID venues and facilities. From time spent on the golf courses and at the Tennis & Pickleball Center to days at the beaches and activities at the Recreation Center, our community has been busy enjoying the programs, services, and amenities that make Incline Village such a special place to live, work, and recreate. Thank you to all of our community members who attended the Community Open House on August 25. We truly
appreciate your time, engagement, and thoughtful input and feedback on the many projects, initiatives, and topics highlighted at the event. Your participation helps us better understand the needs and priorities of our community. In this issue, we’re highlighting several important Capital Improvement Projects that will help enhance our community for years to come. You’ll find updates on the Incline Beach House, Championship Golf Course cart path replacement project, Snowflake Lodge, and Recreation Center HVAC projects, along with a look at recently completed improvements, including the Holman Family Bike Park and Skate Park. We are committed to maintaining the high quality of the Incline Village Championship Golf Course. To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all golfers, we began a multiseason project on September 8 to replace the aging cart paths, many of which have been in service for 20 to 40 years. This important project will help improve the overall condition, safety, and accessibility of the course while preserving the exceptional experience our golfers have come to expect. Thank you for being an important part of the IVGID community. Your participation, support, and enthusiasm are what make Incline Village such a wonderful place to call home. Pre-Swim Team/Northern Nevada Aquatics Swim Team (NNA) Incline’s premier swim team for both competitive and novice swimmers. Our USA Swimming-certified coaches will evaluate appropriate levels and practice times for each participant. For those who are participating in USA Swimming, the opportunity to travel to USA Swim meets is available. Swim team fees are due monthly. Please refer to the swim team level descriptions on the website. Ages 6+.
Swim Around Tahoe Complete this program by swimming in the pool, the lake, or whatever facility you desire. Just record your yardage, and we will track your progress. Upon completion of the 71mile journey, you will receive a T-shirt and your name on the Finisher’s Plaque at the Recreation Center pool. This is an ongoing program for all ages with annual registration.

youth basketball league Players 1st through 8th grade can join our fun and exciting youth basketball league this winter! In collaboration with the Boys & Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe, this fast-paced league is for players of all abilities. Learn the fundamentals from our great volunteer coaches and then show them off in team game settings. Games are played in Incline Village and Kings Beach and every player receives a reversible jersey and a team picture. Dates: February 1 – April 2, 2027 Location: Various gyms around the North Shore Times: 4pm – 6pm

championship golf course cart path replacement project On September 8, we will begin a multi-season project to replace the aging cart paths at the Incline Village Championship Golf Course. Much of the existing cart path system has been in service for 20 to 40 years and is in need of replacement. But for Tahoe residents Paul and John Wood, who pulled off the spectacular feat on the 14th hole of the Incline Village Championship Golf Course on August 19, 2016, beating the odds seems to come easier when they’re playing with family. 10 years later to the day (August 19, 2026) and the backto-back ace brothers reunited to play a round on the Championship Golf Course to remember that incredible event and pay tribute to their other brother Mark Wood who was there that day and has since passed away.

DIAMOND PEAK SKI RESORT Renovations to the main Diamond Peak Base Lodge were last made in 2008; however, the Snowflake Lodge has never been upgraded since originally constructed in 1966 (other than the addition of more outdoor seating on the deck).

Diamond Peak skiers and riders have enjoyed thousands of meals, après-ski beverages, and special events at Snowflake, and many have asked why we don’t do more at the venue.
On July 24, 2026, five architecture firms were selected for interviews as part of the second phase of a consultant selection process for award of a 30% design contract for the proposed Snowflake Lodge Replacement. The second phase of the selection process includes presentations by the consultants and an interview with the selection panel. The highest scoring consultant is expected to be recommended for contract award at the September 9, 2026 Board Meeting.

Yard Waste/Pine Needle Recycling Fall Curbside yard waste collection will occur on your normal trash day each week, September 28 - October 30. Place properly stickered bags curbside by 7am on your trash day. Yard waste left curbside outside of this time frame is considered trash and subject to excess bag charges. Accepted yard debris includes: pine needles, pine cones, garden waste, small bushes, small twigs, small branches, wood chips, bark, and lawn trimmings. ice skating coming to incline village? In September 2025, the IVGID Board of Trustees authorized the General Manager to enter into an agreement
with Incline Ice Foundation to accept a donation of an ice rink package to support future ice rink activities in Incline Village. IVGID took ownership/delivery of the ice rink package, including a portable ice rink measuring 82 feet by 50 feet, clear plexiglass walls and doors, an electric ice resurfacer, 250 pairs of ice skates, rolling skate racks, skate lace area mats to cover 1,500 square feet, 25 skating aids, a skate sharpener, and a variety of miscellaneous equipment that supports skating. The ice rink package is similar to the one that has been in operation in Tahoe City for the past decade. Given the success of that operation, Tahoe City is now looking to expand the ice rink in both size and programming. In order to bring winter ice skating online in Incline Village, several capital expenditures need to be completed, with early estimates totaling approximately $875,000, including: 1. Purchase of chiller to maintain the frozen surface

2. Upgrades to electrical transformer and distribution equipment 3. Site work at the Championship Course driving range Given the competing demands for capital funding this fiscal year and the District’s other long-term capital priorities, including the long-awaited upgrades to Diamond Peak Ski Area, the IVGID Board of Trustees deferred a decision on funding capital improvements for the ice rink until the Fiscal Year 2027/28 budget discussions next spring. In the interim, IVGID is seeking community support to help fund the necessary capital expenditures to bring winter ice rink activities to Incline Village. IVGID is working closely with the Incline Tahoe Foundation, our community partner in raising funds for IVGID facilities to streamline the donation process. The Incline Village Fitness Trail (previously known as the Exercourse) is an 18-station exercise course adjacent to the Village Green. The .8 mile course winds through the forest next to Incline Creek. The course contains accessible walking, running, snowshoeing, biking and exercise trails, and is used by many residents and visitors year-round. The Fitness Trail was updated in partnership with the Incline Tahoe Foundation and community funds.
The Incline Village Disc Golf Course includes 18 par 3 holes in a picturesque setting located within Incline Park adjacent to the Tennis & Pickleball Center, Recreation Center, Skateboard Park and Ridgeline Park. This free multi-use area is to be enjoyed by all ages, created with donations in partnership with the Incline Village Parks & Recreation Department, the Incline Tahoe Foundation and the North Tahoe Lions Club. Parking is available at the Recreation Center at 980 Incline Way. Discs are available for purchase or rent at the Recreation Center.
Bocce is one of the most widely played games in the world and has been gaining popularity in Incline Village. The park is located in the creek-side forest area adjacent to the Incline Village Recreation Center parking lot. Bocce Ball & Group Rentals: Bocce sets are available for rent from the Recreation Center, during operating hours, for $20. The Bocce Ball Park is also available for group rentals for Incline Village and Crystal Bay residents and the general public. View details on the Rental Facilities page.
The Holman Family Bike Park

The park was made possible through a collaboration among the Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation, the Incline Tahoe Foundation (ITF) and the generosity and support of local community donors. The park provides a safe, healthy, and family-friendly outdoor gathering place for the community.
