Once every two weeks, students who need help in certain classes will get a chance to do some extra practice with their teachers. Other students can choose to go to the library, the gym, or the Chill Zone. You can only go to these places if you are current on all your work and have good grades. If you choose to go to the library, you can work on whatever you want. You can play board games, cards, or other activities. If you choose to go to the gym, you play different games. If you choose to go to the Chill Zone, you can read, write, or just relax. Every quarter, there are two Summative exams in each class which count for sixty percent of your grade. There are also Formative assessments which count for forty percent your grade. Your grades determine if you get to do fun electives like Physical Education and Design and Modeling. If you are not meeting standards in academic classes, you must instead do extra classwork for the subjects you need help in. All these great things make Marce Herz a very special school in our community. It prepares the students for High School and beyond. It
