Over the course of those two and a half centuries, America has continually evolved — adapting to new technologies, new ideas, and new ways of connecting with one another while still preserving the values that define us.

Communities evolve in much the same way.

This year marks an important chapter in the continued growth of ArrowCreek. Our community is now more than 25 years old. Nearly all homesites have been purchased, most have been built upon, and ArrowCreek has matured into one of Northern Nevada’s premier residential communities. While active construction continues in some areas, the focus of the Association is naturally shifting from building the community to enhancing and maintaining the exceptional lifestyle that residents enjoy today.

7) Each agenda will state that action may be taken on any item and each item will be specific enough to allow owners to know what action may be taken at any meeting.

The Chairperson for the Association will be the President unless otherwise determined in his or her absence. If the President is not available, the officers will chair in the following order: Vice President, Treasurer and then the

Just how this is done takes years for horse and rider to accomplish.

There are ten levels to climb in Dressage, starting from training to Grand Prix. Through each level the horse is trained using various movements to increase his strength enabling him to proceed up the levels with ease.

How does one ride a dressage horse? The rider must bodily control the horse without off balancing the horse as he performs. To ride one must focus on sight, hearing, and feeling. Primarily, the rider’s spine must be perpendicular to the horse’s spine. One must always return to perfect alignment for the horse to perform. In addition, the rider needs to keep an ideal posture with minimal movement while the horse performs, so as not to disrupt the animal's balance.

All movements are done by placement of legs and movement of hips. The rider dictates the movement of the horse with little to no movement from the waist on up.

It is a sport that one never reaches the end of learning because each horse is different and each show brings new challenges. I think that is why I love this equine sport so much. My love for this 1200-pound animal knows no bounds. I have herded cattle in South Dakota heat, driven a team of horses, jumped with horses, and hunted foxes (coyotes) cross country, but my love is dressage. It is a never-ending challenge on top of these magnificent creatures.

Please notify Security of any parties that require the gates to remain open past 8:00 PM. We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice so we can arrange to hold the gates open and notify staff of the event.

My guest is at the call box and the gate is closed. What should they do?

Have your guest use the A–Z buttons on the call box and scroll down to “Security.” This will call the gatehouse, and we can open the gate for them. If they are trying to contact you directly, they should scroll to your last name. The system will call your phone, and when answering, simply press and hold nine until you hear a beep. Releasing too soon may cause the call to disconnect automatically.

Can I use my personal cell phone instead of the call box to gain access?

No. The gate system is designed to operate through the call boxes. The only alternative would be for Security to come out and manually open the gate.

I am a new resident and have an inside gate remote. How do I use it?

When using an inside gate remote, point it toward the back side of the call box. You will hear a beep when the signal is received, and the gate will begin to open. Please do not pull too close to the gate, as it needs adequate space to open properly.

The gate will not open when I push my remote. Can I force it open?

Absolutely not. Please do not attempt to force the gate open. Doing so can damage components inside the motor box, and repairs can cost $5,000 or more.
