It was appropriate that golf’s brightest star of the time and current legend was chosen for the ground breaking, as well as to design the first 18 holes of the 36 holes to be built. That first course was named “The Legend” after Mr. Palmer.

Another design group was chosen to design the second 18 holes; top golf course designer John Harbottle along with golf pro Fuzzy Zoeller. Zoeller is a past US Open and Masters Champion. This course was named “The Challenge”.

Easter at ArrowCreek The annual Easter Egg Hunt at ArrowCreek was held on Saturday, April 20, 2019 at the ArrowCreek Residents’ Center. The hunt is co-sponsored each year by the The ArrowCreek Homeowners Association and The Club at ArrowCreek. Even though the weather was cool, and there were a few clouds overhead, the Residents’ Center lawn provided the perfect atmosphere for the children and adults to participate in the egg hunt tradition. The resident field was sectioned off into age groups: 0-3, 4-6, 7-10, 11 + and an adult section. The field was laden with multi-colored eggs. Promptly at 11:30 a horn was blown, and the hunt began. Children with colorful baskets raced enthusiastically to find hidden Easter eggs, and adults found tiny bottles of adult beverages in their section of the field.

Children were entertained by the Easter Bunny and played in the two large bounce houses while they waited for the hunt to begin.

Over 150 children and approximately 150 adults participated in the event. Many thanks to the Homeowners and The Club at ArrowCreek staff for the festive egg hunt. We appreciate everyone RSVPing for every ArrowCreek event. It’s a big help with planning and budgeting!
