Off to the Races

On Saturday, August 17th, more than 500 runners, joggers, walkers, and community members gathered in the early morning heat at Wheaton Regional Park to Run Baby Run! Because of your support, over $43,000 was raised for CCI’s Maternal and Child Health Programs to support healthier moms and babies.

After crossing the finish line, participants and community members enjoyed a health and wellness expo, including interactive fitness instructions by Planet Fitness of Silver Spring, cooking demonstrations, samples, information from many community resources and organizations, face painting and raffles.

Through support from generous sponsors, donors, and vendors, our funds raised directly support CCI Health & Wellness Services’ Maternal and Child Health Programs. Through your generosity and continued support, CCI can continue to ensure access to services for those in our community who need it the most.

Many of our generous sponsors participated in the race, including Ben from HealthyTenant, who was our first racer to cross the finish line with a stroller!
