May 2022
Dear Central Catholic Family,
My name is Frank Medina IV ‘85, father to Frank “Cinco” Medina V ‘22 and 2022-2024 President of the Alumni Association. My son, Cinco, is a senior at Central and the President of the Student Council. My heart is truly filled with joy knowing that Cinco and I have walked the same hallways and shared similar experiences in the classroom and on the field even though they have been separated by more than three decades. I vividly remember being a part of our 1984 State Championship Basketball and Baseball Teams and my great times as a student. Those memories are a particular part of our history, and I will cherish them forever.
What makes Central Catholic so unique is the bond that is created between students, faculty, coaches, and administrators. I have seen my son learn life lessons, make impactful decisions, and develop friendships that I know will last a lifetime. I know that Cinco will carry his core values from Central Catholic with him.

One of the things that Cinco says he will never forget is how nice some of the older students were when he first stepped on campus as a freshman. A moment that stands out, in particular, was his first day of high school. A STUCO member greeted him and said, “Welcome to Central Catholic.” That little act of kindness made him feel that this was his place. Something that has been instilled in him during his time at Central, he says, is straightforward and is something that he will keep with him for the rest of his life. No matter the situation, no matter the circumstance, your BROTHER will always be there to pick you up!
There is only one high school that I would recommend to any family with a son, Central Catholic High School. I can confidently say that my experience as a student was life-changing. The faculty and staff are dedicated to each student’s personal growth and development. The faith-based high academic education instills the values of service, discipline, and leadership in its students.

As a proud graduate of Central Catholic High School, I am honored to have the opportunity to offer my support to the school and its mission. Central Catholic has instilled in me the values of brotherhood, integrity, and leadership, which my son now also values. I know that other alumni have experienced the same exceptional education and have gone on to great success. I know that with your support and generosity, Central Catholic High School will continue to be an institution with a bright future. I invite you to join me in continuing to support the mission of Central Catholic.
In Central’s 170th year, we have a strong sense of tradition and legacy, and we thank you for your continued support. The Marianists continue to pray for all the benefactors daily, and we ask for your prayers that generous people will join us in support of our mission.

We rely on the generosity of alumni, parents, and friends to supplement the $1,700.00 difference per student not covered by tuition. Please consider a gift to help the next generation of Central Catholic men.
We are grateful to all those who choose to support our mission by making Central Catholic a charitable priority in their life. Your generous gift to The Fund is a vote of confidence in our efforts to maintain excellence in a well-rounded Catholic education.
