ABOUT US Vicki Darrah started in the business fresh out of college as an executive trainee in merchandising at Bloomingdales in New York City. Upon completing the training program, she became an assistant buyer in the children’s apparel area of Bloomingdales. In 1967, after getting married she went with her husband, who was enlisted in the Army, to Louisville, Kentucky, where she worked as an assistant buyer for a small local department store, Bycks. Upon his release from the Army they moved to Atlanta, Georgia, and she continued her buying career at Rich’s Department Store.

She took some time off to have two daughters and then became a sales rep working for DBI, a rep agency co-owned by a former colleague at Rich’s. Vicki was an instant success. Her territory was metro Atlanta which has historically been, and still is, one of the most difficult territories to conquer in the Southeast. Through her dedication, perseverance, and sheer love of the business she quickly became DBI’s top rep.

After 12 years with DBI she had an opportunity to buy a small agency, Louise Allen, in 1989. The agency specialized in paper and party products but through the years Vicki dramatically changed her offerings, and we now specialize in Gift, Home Accents, Garden and Children’s gifts. Several years ago, through a merger with DBI, Darrah & Co., Ltd. added several thousand square feet to the existing space on the 18th floor of the Americas Mart.

In 2002, her younger daughter, Lindsay DeMyer, started working in the business alongside her.

She had a natural love for the business and now is the President of the company running it's day-to-day operations.

In 2015, after almost 15 years since working with the company in the early 2000s, her older daughter, Ashley Hall, started working part-time handling the finances and human resources. In early 2021, she started working full-time and began growing the marketing side of the company.

She is now the Vice President of Darrah & Co. In January of 2022, Vicki Darrah officially retired, leaving Lindsay and Ashley as co-owners of Darrah & Co. They endeavor to run the business with the same energy, enthusiasm and spunk that their mother did.

Darrah & Co. occupies a premier spot in Atlanta. We are located on the 18th floor of building 2 at the top of the escalators. Darrah & Co. has earned a reputation in the industry as one of the best agencies in the country. They employ a top-notch sales force, showroom staff, and management team.

We are a one stop shop for the best lines in gift, home décor, children’s product, and fashion accessories. We have qualified and professional sales associates throughout the Southeast who are waiting to serve you! We are a family owned and operated business and encourage you to get to know a little more about us, our reps and the vendors we represent.

ups and downs and twists and turns for our industry and we survived and thrived in many ways. But we are ready to ring in a new year with 2026!

January Market 2026 is not to be missed! We have so much FUN in store for you! First, we have brand new neighbors on the 18th floor, and we couldn’t be more excited! The energy will be unbelievable! To celebrate our new neighbors, we are hosting a floor-wide “Shop at the Top” day on Tuesday, January 13th. The day will be full of food, drinks, entertainment and a few surprises. You will not want to be anywhere but 18 on that day! You may even want to spend a few days with us as we have so much new to show you! We have 6 new brands to introduce you to along with all the new items from our existing brands.

In this issue of the Darrah & Co. Lookbook be sure to check out our event schedule. We have lots of things planned: VIB day, artist signings, author events, 250 Year celebration day, and of course, “shop at the top” day! We also have a few new faces on the sales team. We cannot wait for you to meet our new team members, and we know you are going to love working with them!

Lindsay joined Darrah & Co. in May 2002, bringing with her a lifetime of exposure to the gift industry and a deep understanding of the family business. After exploring various career paths post-college, she returned to Darrah with a clear purpose and strong commitment. Over the years, she has successfully carved out her own identity within the company, earning respect through hard work, professionalism, and composure—even while navigating the unique challenges of working with family. With her drive and dedication, Lindsay is poised to carry on the legacy and achieve the same level of success as her mother.

Ashley Hall Vice President

Ashley brings a unique blend of compassion, leadership, and operational insight to her role at Darrah & Co., where she serves as Vice President. Originally joining Darrah in the early 2000s, she returned 15 years later after raising a family and leading a nonprofit housing organization in Richmond, Virginia. Though trained as a nurse, Ashley’s career has evolved across healthcare, nonprofit leadership, and now the gift industry—a space she’s been immersed in her entire life. Ashley brings exceptional drive, adaptability, and a passion for supporting both people and purpose-driven business operations.

Paula Blevins Director of Sales

For almost 5 years, Paula has been Darrah’s Western NC territory manager. She will now take on the role of Director of Sales. She has over two decades of experience in retail buying and territory management. Previously, she served as a senior buyer for The Biltmore Company, driving strategy and profitability across 11 specialty stores. Paula excels in building lasting client relationships, analyzing sales data to identify growth opportunities, and consistently exceeding performance goals. A proven team builder and collaborator, Paula brings a strong mix of analytical skill, creativity, and integrity to every role she undertakes.

Larry Campbell

Showroom Manager Larry joined the Darrah & Co. management team in 1999 after 12 successful years as a buyer in the specialty retail market. As Showroom Manager, he wears many hats—overseeing sales, vendor relations, database management, and showroom design.

Known for his reliability and hands-on leadership, Larry is often the first to open the doors each morning during Market and the last to lock up at night. His deep industry knowledge and can-do attitude make him the go-to problem solver for the team. Simply put, if something needs doing—or fixing—or finding, Larry is the one who can do it.

David Holcomb

Inside Sales Manager and Assistant Showroom Manager David brings a wealth of experience across all facets of the gift industry to his role at Darrah & Co. His in-depth knowledge of showroom operations has become a tremendous asset to the team. David’s versatility is unmatched—he handles customer service, supports sales reps in the field, manages Facebook Live events, oversees online ordering, and plays a key role in show and showroom setup. Whether it’s behind the scenes or front and center, David ensures everything runs smoothly. Most notably, he’s often the first friendly face you’ll see when visiting the showroom, ready to offer a warm welcome.
