THIRD TIME'S A CHARM

CCF SA’s Future in Civil Committee and Women in Civil Committee were finally able to hold their Christmas in Gin networking event in May at Imperial Measures Distilling. Originally scheduled for July 2021, and then postponed to October, both due to COVID, it was great to finally be able to come together and celebrate Christmas in Gin, in May! Attendees heard from the Committee representative, Kate Traeger, Chair of the Women in Civil Committee, and Chris Staak from the Future in Civil Committee.

Kate spoke about what the committee has been working on and the planning of their upcoming events. She also spoke of the opportunities to get involved in the committee and encouraged everyone to get involved where they can. Did you know that the Women in Civil Committee is not just for women, they are also looking for male champions to join the committee? Chris spoke about an exciting leadership program that the committee is working on; watch this space as more details will be announced soon.

It was a great opportunity for all who attended to enjoy a gin, a burger and relax. Taking some time out to connect was just what was needed – even if it was third time lucky!
