How long have you been in Business?

SOS Employment has been providing labour-hire and recruitment services to the civil construction, earthmoving, building and associated industries for approximately 30 years. Recently under new management, there has been an increased emphasis on greater customer service and competitive rates.

Where are you located?

Our office is located at 600 Goodwood Rd, Daw Park.

What are you core business activities?

SOS Employment provides labour-hire and recruitment services specialising in the provision of personnel to the civil construction, earthmoving, building and associated industries. We undertake an end-to-end recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, pre-employment screening, interviewing, reference checking, and placement of candidate along with managing all administrative and payroll obligations.

Our aim as a labour hire and recruitment agency is to make our client’s job easy by finding the right personnel to undertake the role required. By the right person, we not only mean having the relevant experience, licences and tickets, but also being the right fit and dependable for our client.

Through the development of professional business relationships with key client personnel, and our knowledge,

understanding and experience of the labour hire industry, we’re able to provide a seamless integration of our personnel into our client's workplace.

In addition to civil construction and earthmoving related personnel, we have provided safety and administrative personnel to our clients. As a logical extension to the administrative personnel, we now provide personnel to undertake varied accounts related functions.

SOS Employment Pty Ltd maintains an extensive data base of personnel, continually supplemented by regular advertising and targeted recruitment. Hence, suitable personnel are available.

All our personnel are interviewed, referenced checked and undertake a detailed induction process. They must possess relevant experience and hold appropriate tickets and/ or qualifications, to qualify for placement. It is equally important that they are the right fit for each client. We spend time with our clients to understand their specific organisational requirements, and it is only through this process that highly skilled and experienced personnel are placed. And this results in peace of mind for our clients.

Once personnel are placed, we regularly visit sites to meet with both the employee and the client to ensure everything is operating smoothly.

The number of on-site employees placed with clients varies day to day, based on the needs of our clients; however, we have three Senior Consultants, and an Administration and Payroll Officer servicing our clients and on-site employees.
