SMS Geotechnical is delighted to announce that we have acquired the highly respected, Northern Territory company, Alice Materials Testing (AMT). The team at AMT will remain unchanged and continues to operate out of the Alice Springs facility.

THE ACQUISITION OF AMT reaffirms our commitment to provide the construction industry with best practice principals and the most experienced technicians whilst increasing our exposure in the Northern Territory.

SMS Geotechnical is a South Australian construction materials testing company that services the civil construction industry, providing quality service and results. Formed in 2013 by Darren Shotton, Damien Mashford and Callum Smith, the company has grown from the 3 directors working out of a small factory unit, to 20 staff, now in 3 locations. Para Hills West, Port Lincoln and now, Alice Springs.

The company won the prestigious Small Employer of the Year award from 2018 SA Training Awards.
