The percussion of iron bars is the major component of the music in my work. I also make use of an African-American Spiritual Swing Low, Sweet Chariot.

The rough, faint sounds ring in the air, with long echoes going back and forth, not in a harmonious manner, yet full of strength and power.

黃振邦 Bruce WONG 黃振邦生於香港，1995 年考進香港演藝學院。在校期間曾多次獲取獎學金及代表學院到外 地演出。1998 年獲亞洲文化協會獎學金到美國參加美國舞蹈節。2000 年畢業於香港演藝 學院現代舞系並加入城市當代舞蹈團至 2009 年，離團後獲香港賽馬會音樂及舞蹈信託基金 獎學金到美國霍林斯大學修讀碩士課程，並於 2010 年入選「勞力士創藝推薦資助計劃」年 青舞蹈家的入圍名單。其後於 2012 年重返舞團，2019 年晉升為排練指導。近期作品有《逆 ・轉》之〈舌尖上的靈魂〉、《發現號》之〈……是如何鍊成的？〉及《恐・集》。 Bruce Wong was born in Hong Kong and enrolled at The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts in 1995. The recipient of various scholarships, he was chosen to represent HKAPA several times on overseas tours. In 1998, he took part in American Dance Festival under an Asian Cultural Council fellowship. After graduating in modern dance from the Academy in 2000, Wong joined CCDC as a dancer. In 2009, he left to study for a Master's degree at Hollins University in the U.S. on The Hong Kong Jockey Club Music and Dance Fund Scholarship. A year later, he was among several young dancers chosen for the prestigious Rolex Mentor and Protégé Arts Initiative. He returned to CCDC in 2012 and was promoted to Rehearsal Master in 2019. His recent choreographic works include Re/dis-connect in It's My Turn; How to Become … in Eureka; and Why Not Kill Us All…

莫嫣 Jennifer MOK 莫嫣於香港演藝學院畢業，2007 至 2014 年於香港城市當代舞蹈團擔任舞者，現為自由身 藝術工作者。2015 年於東邊舞蹈團《赤式》中，展演首個自編自演舞作《A Major Clown in G Flat》，並憑此於香港舞蹈年獎 2016 獲提名「傑出編舞」及「傑出女舞蹈員演出」。 2018 獲邀參加「香港比舞」舞蹈節及台灣「圓桌舞蹈計劃」。 生為人之意義， 其關注、好奇的問題。2017 年於第 45 屆香港藝術節展演《你很美麗》及 2018 於香港舞蹈聯盟製作之「舞蹈新鮮人」系列中展演《Moha》，兩者均以自殺為題材， 探討人生中的慾望與恐懼。《Moha》於香港舞蹈年獎 2019 獲提名「傑出小型場地舞蹈製 作」。 莫氏亦積極參與不同領域的演出，包括香港電台電視節目《沒有牆的世界 6：我們的比賽》、 一舖清唱《石堅》、西九文化區委約及製作之「觀 影──香港舞者」、「新作論壇：光影 舞蹈」、「城市祭」舞蹈錄像計劃、黑目鳥劇團《在平坦路上看不見日出》、西九文化區 自由野 2015《S.L.O.A.P》等。 Jennifer Mok graduated from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts. She joined City Contemporary Dance Company from 2007 to 2014. After the departure, she became a freelance artist. In 2005, Mok made her choreographic debut, A Major Clown in G Flat, in Femininity presented by E-side Dance Company, and was shortlisted for

Outstanding Choreography and Outstanding Performance by Female Dancer at Hong Kong Dance Award 2016. In 2018, she was invited to participate in Hong Kong Dance Exchange and Dance Round Table Taiwan.

Mok questions the meaning of being alive. Some of her works, through the subject of suicide, look into the desire and fear of life, including You are Beautiful presented at the 45th Hong Kong Arts Festival in 2017 and Moha in 2018 'New Force in Motion' Series

by Hong Kong Dance Alliance. Moha was nominated for Outstanding Small Venue Production at Hong Kong Dance Awards 2019.

Mok also attempts performances in various fields, including Wall-less World IV, episode 5 (RTHK TV series), Rock Hard (Yat Po Singers), 'ON VIEW: HONG KONG' (WKCD), 'New Works Forum: Screendance' Workshop, 'Rite of City' Dance Video Project, Freedom of Expression (Black Bird Theater) and S.L.O.A.P (WKCD Freespace 2015).

在這個時空，去應對安穩 vs 突變好像成為人類生存的主題。 好奇心——是有趣的舞者 / 人類的特性，對我來說它也是令人在突變的 環境中令自身感覺安穩的能量。 基於好奇心，我們在這個過程裡，好像把自己拆開了一遍，再重新組合。 雖然這個過程要花費一點腦汁精力，但希望是刺激好玩的。 感謝願意跟我同步的人。 Under the current space-time, adaptation in face of stability vs upheavals seems all of a sudden becomes the theme of human survival.

Curiosity——a property of an interesting dancer/ human being. To me, it is also energy that makes one feel firm and secure in an ever-changing environment.

Based on this curiosity, we went through the process where we seem to disassemble and reassemble ourselves.

Though it took a bit of reflections and efforts, I hope it was fun and exciting.

I am grateful for the people who are willing to synchronize with me.

李思颺 Justyne LI 李思颺於香港演藝學院舞蹈學院芭蕾及現代舞系畢業。她曾任香港芭蕾舞團、奧地利格拉 茲舞蹈團成員，及德國巴馬海港舞團獨舞員，後於 2010 年與王丹琦創辦 Neo Dance HK。 現為獨立舞者及編舞，經常於大型國際舞蹈節演出，包括跳格國際舞蹈影像節、橫濱舞集 2019、新加坡 M1 contact 當代舞蹈節、馬來西亞 d’MOTION 國際舞蹈節，又應邀參與 西九文化區 2016 年「國際創意交流──香港 x 芬蘭」計劃。 近年編演作品 / 計劃包括《其實落雨又有乜好怕喎》、《地心》、《凝體術》、《藍月夜》、 《分割》、《見習舞者 2》、《見習舞者 1》、《見習人類》、《煩人協奏曲》、《Galatea X》、《第三 . 五次元》、《Galatea & Passenger》、《Galatea & Pygmalion》等 。 她曾憑個人作品獲多項國際殊榮，包括葡萄牙 InShadow 電影節 2020 最佳演出評審獎》 （《其實落雨又有乜好怕喎》）、第七屆耶路撒冷國際編舞比賽首獎（《分割》）、第四 屆香港國際編舞節二獎（《地心》）以及 2014 香港舞蹈年獎「傑出編舞」及「傑出獨立舞 蹈製作」（《Galatea X》）。 Justyne Li graduated from The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts (Ballet and Modern Dance). She is a former member of the Hong Kong Ballet and Tanz Graz (Austria), and a former soloist with Ballett des Stadttheater Bremerhaven (Germany).

She founded Neo Dance HK with Wong Tan-ki in 2010. Currently an independent dancer and choreographer, Li performs on stages of international dance festivals, including M1 Contact Contemporary Dance Festival, d' MOTION International Dance Festival, Guangdong and Beijing Dance Festivals, and West Kowloon Cultural District's Creative Meeting Point: HK x Finland 2016.

Her recent choreographies/projects include: Come Rain or; The Shift; Soul Casting; Transfigured Night; Division; Dance Internship II; Dance Internship I; Human Internship; Trouble-maker's Concerto; Galatea X; What's the Matter; The 3.5th Dimension; Galatea & Passenger; Galatea & Pygmalion.

Li has received wide international recognition, including Best Performance Award for Come Rain or Shine at the InShadow Festival 2020 (Portugal), First Prize for Division at the 7th Jerusalem International Choreography Competition, Second Prize for The Shift

at the 4th Hong Kong International Choreography Festival, Outstanding Choreography and Outstanding Performance by a Female Dancer for Galatea X at Hong Kong Dance Award 2014, etc.

王丹琦 WONG Tan-ki 王丹琦現為舞者、編舞、錄像設計及舞蹈教師。乃 NEO Dance HK 創辦人之一。編舞作品《分割》榮獲第七屆耶路撒冷國際編舞比賽首獎；《Galatea X》 及《Galatea and Pygmalion》分別於 2014 年及 2011 年獲得年香港舞蹈年獎「傑出編舞」及「傑出獨立舞蹈製作」。其他個人獎項包括 2015 年香港藝 術發展獎藝術新秀獎及 2012 年 IDO 踢躂舞世界錦標賽男子獨舞第三名。 Wong Tan-ki is currently working as a freelance dancer, choreographer, multimedia designer and dance teacher. He is also a founding member of NEO Dance HK. His choreography Division was awarded the First Prize at the 7th Jerusalem International Choreography Competition, while his other choreographic works were recognised with several Hong Kong Dance Award, including Outstanding Achievement in Independent Dance for Galatea & Pygmalion in 2011 and Outstanding Choreography for Galatea X in 2014. He is also a recipient of the Award for Young Artist at The Hong Kong Arts Development Awards in 2015, and the Third Place of Male Solo in IDO World Tap Dance World Championships 2012.

羅文偉畢業於香港演藝學院，主修燈光設計。羅氏曾為不同劇場演出擔任燈光設計師，合作機構包括：香港話劇團、前進進戲劇工作坊、風車草劇團、多空間、 香港演藝學院等。2017 年加入城市當代舞蹈團任駐團燈光設計師，作品有《恐 · 集》、《小王子》、《香 · 夭》、《冬之旅 · 春之祭》及《Re-Mark》等。

2009 年成立 INSPIRE WORKSHOP，創作糅合新媒體及表演之劇場作品，包括《姐姐》、《觸怒你──劇場裡的不可能》等，並憑編導作品《愛比資本更冷 Deconstructed》獲提名第八屆香港小劇場獎最佳導演。現正於香港演藝學院戲劇學院修讀導演系碩士課程（兼讀）。 Lawmanray (Raymond Law) graduated from the HKAPA in Lighting Design. He has worked as a freelance lighting designer for different theatre companies, including Hong Kong Repertory Theatre, On & On Theatre Workshop, Windmill Grass Theatre, Y-Space, the HKAPA and others. He joined CCDC as Resident Lighting Designer in 2017, and designed lighting for Why Not Kill Us All…, The Little Prince, Requiem HK, Winterreise · The Rite of Spring and Re-Mark, etc.

He formed INSPIRE WORKSHOP in 2009, a theatre company aiming to create multimedia stage works with excellent performance. His recent works include The HELP, Offending the Audience – The Impossibility of Theatre, etc. He was nominated for Best Director in 8th Hong Kong Theatre Libre 20152016 for Love is Colder than Capital Deconstructed. He is doing his master degree on Theatre Directing (part-time) in the HKAPA.

趙婉妏 Tracy GIU

2016 年畢業於香港演藝學院舞台及製作藝術學院，獲學士 ( 榮譽 ) 學位，主修佈景及服裝設計。在校期間，曾獲周生生獎學金、卓越 才藝獎學金、舞台製作藝術最具潛質設計學生獎。 現為自由身舞台工作者。近年亦有參與電影美術及服裝設計工作。 最近參與佈景及服裝設計的作品包括：八樓平台 《境》、音樂劇作 《Come Out ！形 體 · 卡巴萊》、香港演藝學院舞蹈學院春季 演出 《Breathe Sound 3.0 by Rick Nodine》、《Osmosis by Jonathan Watkins》、香港演藝學院歌劇《魔笛》（服裝設計）等等。 Tracy Giu was graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) Degree in Theatre and Entertainment Arts from The Hong Kong Academy For Performing Arts in 2016, majoring in Set and Costume Design.

She is currently a freelance designer, specialising in theatre set and costume design. She also works on costume design and styling for film production in recent years.

Her recent works include set and costume design in: 8/F Platform Jing , Come Out - Physical Cabaret by Musical Trio, Mourning Becomes Electra by Theatre Horizon, HKAPA: School of Dance Spring Performances Osmosis by Jonathan Watkins and Breathe 2.0 by Rick Nodine, Opera Magic Flute (costume design), etc.

夏恩蓓 HA Yan-pui

夏恩蓓畢業於香港演藝學院舞台音響及音樂錄音系，現為不同舞台製作擔任音響設計師及工程師，包括劇場、舞蹈、音樂會、音樂劇及多媒體 演出，近期作品包括進念．二十面體《看不見的城市》、《東宮西宮》系列；城市當代舞蹈團《孤寂》、《她說 / 他說》、《後感性・實相》、 《小王子》、《不期而遇》；香港舞蹈團《在那遙遠的地方》等。其他作品包括：香港話劇團《一頁飛鴻》；任白慈善基金《再世紅梅記》； W 創作社《修羅場》、《小人國》系列；香港藝術節「香港賽馬會當代舞蹈平台」系列；香港青年協會「香港國際無伴奏合唱節」等。連續兩 年為澳門國際音樂節擔任音響顧問。憑《修羅場》獲提名第二十四屆香港舞台劇獎「最佳音響設計」。 Ha Yan-pui graduated from The Hong Kong Academy For Performing Arts (Theatre Sound and Music Recording Department). She is a sound designer and engineer for various theatre productions, such as drama, dance, concert, musical and multi-media performances. Her recent design works include Invisible Cities and East Wing West Wing series for Zuni Icosahedron; Soledad, She Says, He Talks and PostPerception/Transcendence, The Little Prince and Come Across for CCDC, Voices and Dances on the Distant Land for Hong Kong Dance Company. Other works include Footprints in the Snow for Hong Kong Repertory Theatre; The Reincarnation of Red Plum for Yam Kim Fai & Pak Suet Sin Charitable Foundation; Shuraba and Little Hong Kong series for W Theatre; Hong Kong Jockey Club Contemporary Dance Series for Hong Kong Arts Festival; Hong Kong International A Cappella Festival for The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups etc. She was also invited as Sound Consultant for Macao International Music Festival. Her work Shuraba was nominated for The Best Sound Design at the 24th Hong Kong Drama Awards.

城市當代舞蹈團是香港首個全職專業現代舞團，以體現香港當代文化為宗旨，編創風格鮮明的作品，刻劃當代舞蹈發展軌跡。舞團早於 1979 年由曹誠淵創立，現由香港資深舞蹈家伍宇 烈擔任藝術總監，四十二年來已積累超過二百齣本土編舞家的完整舞碼，包括曹誠淵、黎海寧、梅卓燕、潘少輝及伍宇烈等人作品，也經常與其他媒介的藝術家跨界合作。由舞團創辦的 跳格國際舞蹈影像節以及城市當代舞蹈節，致力在亞洲開拓舞蹈新想像，展現香港的多元魅力。

Since 1980, the Company has accepted 273 overseas invitations to represent Hong Kong in performance at the world’s foremost dance stages and festivals in over 30 major cities: including New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Montreal, London, Paris, Lyon, Rome, Florence, Rovereto, Oslo, Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart, Copenhagen, Prague, Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin, Tokyo, Niigata, Seoul, Busan, Daegu, Singapore, Manila, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing, Shanghai, Urumqi, Xining, Taipei, Mumbai, Delhi, Karmiel, Tel Aviv, St. Petersburg and Moscow.

With full commitment to education and development, CCDC offers 40 outreach performances each year and various highly popular dance courses to local community, benefiting more than 40,000 audience members. As a catalyst to contemporary dance development in Hong Kong and China, CCDC has supported emerging modern dance troupes through the China Dance Development Programme since 1998, and co-presented influential modern dance festivals in the Mainland to inspire dance artists. The opening of CCDC Dance Centre in 2004 continues to nurture young artists, students and local communities and sustains the artistic pursuit of contemporary dance in Hong Kong.
