Share the Warmth coat and blanket drive

It was a wet and freezing day December 19th; I was up real early to meet up at the Savage Assassins MC Clubhouse to help with their Second Annual Share the Warmth Coat and Blanket Drive giveaway to the homeless population of Fresno Ca. When I arrived, there was a U Haul truck and club members were still packing goods inside the already packed truck, while some of the other Club Members were out picking up pizzas to giveaway to the homeless. It being mighty cold this day I felt the need of the homeless even more and I felt proud to be part of this huge show of love to the community. We arrived on Santa Clara and G close to the Poverello House and the surrounding encampments, folks started following the U Haul and lined up to see what was happening. Savage Assassins MC also provided 30 Little Caesars pizzas, cases of soda and cases and cases of water for people, the food was a big hit and was eaten and enjoyed in no time at all. On the way back to the Clubhouse the Savage Assassins MC stopped at one more encampment under the freeway and gave away all the remaining items of clothing and water to those living, the folks were all smiles and so grateful for the help, time, and assistance the Savage Assassins MC gave that day, it was a remarkable show of support for those in need.
I want to acknowledge the Savage Assassins MC for their time and effort it took to coordinate the event, the time spent on collection of goods and funds to support this successful project, CC ed items they were served pizza, Bikers & Motorsports Newspaper soda and encouraged to take as was proud to assist and will conmany water bottles as they could tinue to help with next year’s 3rd carry.
