Supporting CCA Home!
Since opening at our Cardiff Road site in November 2024, CCA Home has been proud to serve the community We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported us by donating pre-loved furniture, white goods, and electrical items.
Our store is here to help those in crisis, including individuals on benefits, while also welcoming the general public who share our passion for sustainability Every donation and purchase contribute, to our mission of recycling and giving items a second life.
You too can create a great room with our pre-loved furniture Here is a photo of what a customer has achieved in her home

Friendly and obliging staff: offered to carry the heavy item I purchased to my car All items were reasonably priced and good quality. Nice to be able to both buy a good quality secondhand item and support to a local small charity

A good place if you are looking for affordable second-hand furniture They were able to deliver items to me quickly. Also, a good place to find upcycling projects.
What are the benefits of recycling?
Firstly, it helps CCA sustain the environment for future generations, and it reduces the need for production of using new or raw materials which means a reduction in air pollution, water pollution, and greenhouse gas emissions
Recycling saves energy
Reduces the amount of waste being sent to landfill or incineration
Allows items to be useful for their entire life cycle instead of until they are no longer deemed aesthetically pleasing.
Provides charities with the opportunity to stock free furniture
Last year 3200 items delivered/sold averaging 20kg an item = 64 Tonnes of furniture given a new home 2390 Items collected/donated averaging 20kg an item = 48 Tonnes of furniture saved from landfill 38 tonnes of clothes, bric-a-brac and books go to Choice Textile Ltd Choice has a long held deep and passionate belief in both environmental issues and the massive importance of education. Hundreds and thousands of books are sent to schools, libraries and colleges in Africa Choice is proud to say that less than 1% of what they collect ends up in landfill
