Get Your Home Ready for the Spring Market
Spring is here, scores of buyers are hunting for homes and there’s an inventory shortage across Florida, making it an ideal time to list your home. Two keys to selling your home quickly are pricing it right and making sure it appeals to buyers. Here are a few things you can do to make your property stand out.
Boost curb appeal. To make your home’s exterior enticing, repaint the front door, pressure-wash the driveway, front walk and patios, trim shrubs/trees, freshen mulch and plant new flowers.
Declutter and depersonalize. Decluttering is the key to making your home appear more spacious. Go through each room and decide which pieces of furniture and other items to keep, donate or put in storage, and remove family photos and personal knickknacks from walls, shelves and tables. This will help buyers envision your home becoming theirs.
