Bobo (b.

Born and raised in Orange, California, Christian has been around music his entire life, coming from a long family history of accomplished musicians. He studied at the renowned Orange County School of the Arts from 2016 to 2019 for jazz saxophone and returned later in 2020-2022 for drum set. Throughout middle and high school, he participated in several award-winning wind and jazz groups, competing and performing at festivals such as the Reno Jazz Festival, CSUF Festival of Winds, and the Essentially Ellington Competition at JALC. Having participated in such festivals, St. Marseille has won numerous soloist awards for his saxophone and drum set abilities. Most recently, Wynton Marsalis and Jea Hamilton awarded him as one of the outstanding drummers for the 27th annual Essentially Ellington Competition at Jazz at Lincoln Center. He is now finishing his senior year at California Baptist University, majoring in Instrumental Music Education, and hopes to become a professional musician and educator like his father.

Daniel St. Marseille was born in Sudbury, Ontario, Canada and is part of a family of musicians and athletes. His career includes recording, performance, and education, where he serves as Associate Professor of Music and Program Director for Music Ed/Performance/Jazz Studies at California Baptist University. His early training was in classical clarinet but took up the saxophone and flute in college. Dan is a Yamaha Performing Artist and Master Educator and a D’Addario Woodwind Artist. His musical collaborations include Poncho Sanchez, Gary Foster, Claudio Roditi, and Cecilia Coleman.
Kevin Richardson earned his Bachelor’s in Trumpet Performance from California State University, Northridge. He has studied with many fine musicians such as Carmine Caruso, Jimmy Stamp, Bobby Shew, and Jon Faddis. As a performer, Richardson has played and toured with Buddy Rich, Louie Bellson, Michael Bolton, Tom Kubis Big Band, and the Brian Setzer Orchestra. His film and tv credits include Stuart Little, Fantasia 2000, The Today Show, Conan O’Brien, and Jay Leno. He currently serves as Adjunct Professor of Trumpet and Jazz Studies at California Baptist University.
Baba Elefante has been the bassist for The Ron Kobayashi Trio, a trio that has been together for more that 21 years. The group members Ron Kobayashi, Steve Dixon and Baba Elefante have recorded 4 CD’s, starting with the self-titled "Ron Kobayashi Trio," 2nd release "Exotic Places," 3rd release "No Preservatives," and 4th "Be Bop and Swing." He has recorded and or performed with greats like Roy Hargrove, Pete Christlieb, and Eric Marienthal. Baba is
currently working with the Ron Kobayashi Trio as well as The Joe Jewell Quartet and the Jody Fisher Trio.
Jazz pianist- composer Mark Massey was born in Long Beach, California and raised in Lynwood, California. He started gigging at the age of fourteen playing jazz and rock in clubs. Eventually Mark graduated from California State University, Long Beach (with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in music), where he was recipient of the Carmen Dragon Fellowship for composition. He has worked with Larry Carlton, Poncho Sanchez, Hubert Laws, Louie Bellson, Barbara Morrison, Freddie Hubbard, Maynard Ferguson, Stéphane Grappelli, and Tony Williams.
