JOIN HANDSHAKE!

Handshake is CBU’s official online job portal utilized by the Center for Career and Professional Development. As a CBU alumni, you have continued access to job opportunities, resume reviews, mock interviews, career guidance, and so much more - because your career journey doesn’t stop at graduation!

Getting Started:

1. Log in. Go to app.joinhandshake.com and follow the prompts to log in. Your account was created using your CBU Lancermail email address and password.

2. Having trouble logging in? Some alumni lose access to their Lancermail account after graduation. No problem! Give our office a call at 951-343-5031 and we’ll help you update your account to a personal email address so you never lose access.

3. Introduce yourself. Your profile is your time to shine! List your education, experience, and accomplishments - a completed profile increases your chances of being noticed by employers.

4. Set your job preferences. Tell Handshake what types of roles and locations you’re looking for so the right opportunities come to you.

As a CBU Alum, You Still Have Access To:

• Job and internship postings from employers actively recruiting Lancers

• One-on-one appointments with a Career Counselor

• Resume reviews and mock interviews

• Career and professional development guidance

• Networking opportunities with employers and fellow Lancers

We’re here for you - for life. Book an appointment or reach out to the CBU Center for Career and Professional Development anytime at 951-343-5031.
