WELCOME to California Baptist University. We are pleased that your student has chosen to be part of our community. It is our desire that all CBU students become Biblically Rooted, Academically Prepared, Globally Minded, and Equipped to Serve. Your student will be challenged to explore these concepts while enrolled here. At California Baptist University, our goal is to honor God in all that we do. Honesty, respect, accountability, and integrity are the foundation of our Standard of Student Conduct. Accordingly, our students are expected to abide by the University’s academic and behavioral expectations. We invite you to partner with us in helping your student take responsibility in moving from dependence to interdependence within a community setting as part of the educational process. This Resource Guide is designed to highlight helpful information regarding various campus resources and the University’s expectation of your student. A copy of the Student Handbook is accessible via the CBU website – Click here. We are looking forward to a great academic year! Kent Dacus

CBU places importance on Christ-centered prayer in protecting, guiding and blessing our young adults, their professors, administrators and University campus. Parents tend to be more “hands-off” when their kids head off to college, but they can still have a significant impact on their lives through prayer. Throughout the year, we invite parents to pray through a variety of topics, including: campus safety, spiritual protection and salvation of students, spiritual growth of students, career choices and academic majors, calling of students to full-time ministry and missions, student finances, health concerns, student evangelism/outreach, and prayers for staff/faculty/administration. Wherever you are, you can be praying for CBU! When you subscribe to the monthly newsletter there will be topics to focus and pray about each month!
