L ANCER ATHLETICS ASSOCIATION DONOR GUIDE 2026–2027

MESSAGE FROM THE VP On behalf of our outstanding student-athletes, coaches, and support staff, I would like to thank you for your interest in supporting Lancer Athletics by joining the Lancer Athletics Association (LAA). Your financial support plays a vital role by positively impacting the lives of our 435+ student-athletes. Funds given to the LAA are used to improve facilities, provide scholarships, and aid in our recruiting efforts. The mission of Lancer Athletics is to honor Christ through excellence in athletics. Our coaches and staff are committed to three types of victories: athletic, academic, and spiritual. When you join the TEAM BEHIND THE TEAM, you are helping us recruit the best student-athletes by providing our department with resources to develop PURPOSE-DRIVEN CHAMPIONS. With our mission and your support, we believe we can provide special memories for our campus and extended community. Thank you, and LANCE UP! In Christ, DR. MICAH PARKER

VICE PRESIDENT FOR ATHLETICS

LAA DONOR OF THE YEAR Ronald and Frances Goble have made an extraordinary impact on California Baptist University Athletics through their unwavering commitment to supporting the entire Lancer family. As loyal season ticket holders for CBU Men’s Basketball and enthusiastic supporters of every CBU athletic program, the Gobles embody what it means to invest in the student-athlete experience. With two granddaughters on the CBU Dance Team, their connection to CBU Athletics is personal, but their generosity and encouragement extend to every student-athlete who proudly wears the Lancer uniform. Beyond their support of CBU Athletics, Ron and Fran exemplify a lifetime of dedication and service. Together, they have devoted more than a century of combined service to San Diego Gas & Electric, earning the respect of colleagues through their leadership, mentorship, and commitment to excellence. Their values of hard work, generosity, and putting others first are reflected in the way they support the CBU community. Through their faithful involvement, encouragement, and philanthropic support, Ron and Fran have helped strengthen the foundation of CBU Athletics and enrich the experience of countless student-athletes. We are proud to honor Ronald and Frances Goble as the LAA Members of the Year in recognition of their generosity, servant leadership, and steadfast dedication to Lancer Nation.
