ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
What an incredible journey this master’s degree has been. Most importantly I want to thank the Lord for providing me with the strength, patience, and perseverance necessary to endure these two years. I want to thank my mother and father for their incredible patience, support, and encouragement throughout my entire academic career. Without you both I would not be where I am today. You both have prayed for me and pushed me every day to be the best I can be and I could not be more grateful. I am proud to become the first Porchas with a master’s degree! I want to thank all the wonderful faculty at CBU for their mentorship and care that they poured into me not only as a musician, but also as an individual. I want to thank my wonderful friends at CBU for the camaraderie, encouragement, and prayers I have received from you all. Lastly, I want to thank my beautiful fiancé Molly who stuck with me and supported me through it all. Thank you all once again for your prayers and your support by being here today. All the praise, honor, and glory to God!
