ARTIST
Reynaldo Adrián Soza-Sandoval (born September 13, 2003) is an American saxophonist, composer, and aspiring producer. Though raised in a Nicaraguan household, his cultural and musical influences are driven primarily by experiences living in California and Japan. While in Okinawa, he discovered music by Joe Hisaishi, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, and various independent producers from the “vocaloid” scene. This cemented his interest in music after having been exposed to works by classical composers and Latino Christian artists in early childhood. In the states, Reynaldo picked up an alto saxophone for the first time in 2014. This event inspired a pursuit of mastery of the instrument and musical expression informed by jazz, funk, disco, R&B, pop, and punk rock, among other styles.

All the glory and thanks to God, firstly and forevermore; He is my rock. Though I wrestle with sin daily, He remains faithful to His promises. Every blessing I have, I owe to Him. Nothing I do, musical or otherwise, is possible without His intervention, guidance, and support. Elliot and company, thank you for welcoming me into your band. I enjoyed every performance we have shared thus far, and I hope this will not be the last. Belsy, few words can truly express my admiration and indebtedness for you and your talents. I wish you nothing but happiness and success in all your endeavors. To my parents: I am always thankful for your presence, and this occasion is no different. I would finally like to express my heartfelt appreciation to the mentors, other friends, and family who have provided their support throughout this process. This recital is a culmination of various life experiences I am grateful to have shared with you all. You have not only taught me about how best to serve God and music you have also equipped me with the tools to carve my path in this world. Please know that you are all deeply loved and respected.
