ARTIST BIOGRAPHY
Mars Brown is a versatile musician and audio engineer whose work blends technical precision with deep musicality. A drummer with a distinct rhythmic voice, he brings a unique sonic identity to both live performance and studio environments, while also specializing in mixing and editing for film and orchestral sound. He began playing drums at age seven in church, growing up in a deeply musical family. Influenced by his sister, Charity Joy Brown, Mars developed his artistic voice through collaboration and exposure to diverse genres including R&B, rock, jazz, soul, gospel, and blues. At California Baptist University, Mars trained extensively in performance and audio engineering, mastering Pro Tools, sound design, and post-production. Whether behind the kit or console, he creates expressive, immersive soundscapes.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to Stevo Evans for his mentorship and guidance in music production. His belief in my potential opened doors that have been pivotal to my growth, including the opportunity to intern with his audio playback company, SEVENS. Through this experience, I have received invaluable hands-on training in live audio playback, developing both my technical skills and professional discipline in high-level performance environments. Under his direction, I have gained real-world insight into the demands of live production, learning how precision, preparation, and creativity intersect on stage. One of the most impactful highlights of this journey has been the opportunity to contribute to the Kanye West show at SoFi Stadium this year an experience that deepened my understanding of large-scale production and reinforced my passion for this field. I would also like to sincerely thank my parents, Clarence and Pam Brown, for their unwavering love and support. I am deeply grateful to my siblings, Charity Brown and Christian Brown, and to my girlfriend, Keyarah Williams, whose encouragement has meant so much throughout this journey. I also give thanks to my church, New Life Gospel Center, where my passion for music first began and continues to be nurtured.
