A SMILE RESTORED IN CAMBODIA
Providing care to children and their families in need
In Cambodia, a little girl named Naihieng was living with the painful realities of a cleft lip and palate. Eating was difficult, and choking was a concern. Her family worried about her health, her speech, and how she would be received by others. This precious child’s biggest dream was simple: “to be beautiful, to smile, and to be healthy.”
Unfortunately, that dream seemed impossible. Her father and mother worked demanding jobs and carried heavy debt. But through CBN’s Operation Blessing, faithful partners like you help make specialized care possible for children facing overwhelming challenges, including Naihieng—whose surgery was a success.
Behind every story like hers are compassionate workers who identify urgent needs, coordinate medical care, and bring hope to families who have nowhere else to turn. That kind of behind-the-scenes ministry is only possible because generous friends continue to stand with this mission in unwavering commitment.
Today, Naihieng’s wound is healing well, her repaired lip looks natural, and her smile has returned. Her mother said, “Seeing how she enjoys life with the new lip—and seeing her smiling every day—makes our family rejoice with her!”

Two hundred and fifty years after America declared independence, we pause to honor the men and women who protect our freedom—and their loved ones who carry so much of that sacrifice at home. Through CBN’s Helping the Home Front (HHF), your compassion is reaching military families in practical but powerful ways—reminding them they are seen, valued, and loved.
Since 2013, HHF has partnered with local churches to assist active-duty military families facing financial hardship. Much of that ministry happens behind
the scenes, making sure every blessing is delivered with care. When help arrives, it becomes an incredible testimony of God’s faithfulness.
At Fort Eustis, Langley Air Force Base, and Fort Story, love arrives in the form of food boxes filled with pantry staples. To date, HHF has distributed more than 7,000 boxes to military families.
“I have four children—all boys who eat a lot,” one mother shared. “So, anything that can help get us through the month is great.”
That same compassion reached Jade in Colorado while her husband, Jeremy, was deployed. With three children at home, including a newborn, Jade stretched every dollar to cover rent, diapers, and groceries while Jeremy’s deployment-related
pay was delayed for months.
After her church contacted HHF, Jade learned that friends like you were providing $2,000 in gift cards for groceries and essentials. Then came another surprise: two months of rent paid in full! Jade could hardly believe it.
“It’s an answered prayer,” she said. “I just can’t imagine where we would be without your help.”
Stories like Jade’s are a reminder that one act of kindness can change the direction of a family’s future— just like it did for Adam and Delmy. Today, they have three sons and have been married for almost 10 years, but they still remember how uncertain life felt as newlyweds.

needed several thousand dollars to move his fiancée, Delmy, from Texas to his new duty station in California. They didn’t have money for the move, let alone furniture—not even a chair! Just when they were wondering how they would make it work, they learned that HHF, in partnership with a local church, was going to cover the cost of the move and provide furniture for their new home. What could have been a stressful beginning became a testament of God’s provision. Nearly a decade later, Delmy still reflects on that time with gratitude: “We’re forever grateful to CBN partners for their generosity—people who have a passion to give to those who are in need. We will never forget it.”
This is the heart behind CBN’s mission: being the hands and feet of Jesus while sharing the hope of the Gospel. Whether it’s through a food box, rent assistance, or a fresh start, your generosity is helping us share His love in life-changing ways.

God’s Independence Day by Beth Patch

Independence Day: burgers sizzle, fireworks burst, and flags wave. For many, it’s a routine holiday filled with food, fun, and big plans. Yet, the original meaning—celebrating freedom after the Revolutionary War—is far removed.
But another Independence Day is coming, one that will never lose its glory! We don’t know the date, and anyone who claims to does not speak truth. Still, no one in heaven or on earth will miss it. This day marks eternal freedom from the greatest oppressor of all—Satan.
The day I’m talking about is the day our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ returns—the beginning of true freedom—just like Adam and Eve once knew before sin. Those who believe in Christ’s atoning blood may experience what my old pastor called a “Hallelujah breakdown!”
On that day, Christians will be released from sin’s grip. No more sickness, addiction, gossip, or unkindness—only the pure love of our Father God and Lord Jesus Christ.
Now, the Holy Spirit strengthens and comforts us, yet sin still trips us in this fallen world. When Jesus returns, all ungodliness will vanish. I can’t imagine a greater freedom!
The Bible says Jesus will return through the clouds (Acts 1:11) with His angels (Matthew 16:27) and the trumpet call of God (1 Thessalonians 4:16). And believers will be changed instantaneously (1 Corinthians 15:52).
How it all unfolds is beyond human understanding. But one thing is sure: It will be more riveting than any movie ever made.
So, let’s live ready—for when God’s Independence Day comes, all will be revealed. And if it happens to be today—Happy Independence Day!

In Acts 14:22, Paul says we must go through many a ictions to enter the kingdom of God. But Romans 10:9-10 says that if we confess Jesus as Lord and believe God raised Him from the dead, we shall be saved. Are those two di erent requirements?
They are not contradictory. Romans 10 is talking about the beginning of salvation—the free gift of grace. You do not earn that. You confess Christ, believe in your heart, and you are saved. But Acts 14 is talking about what happens after you belong to Jesus. In this world, believers still face trouble, opposition, and persecution. Paul is encouraging Christians to keep going, stay faithful, and not deny the Lord when pressure comes.
That’s why Jesus warns us in Matthew 10:33 (NKJV), “Whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My Father who is in heaven.”
In the Roman Empire, believers were often tested and told to bow to Caesar or offer sacrifice to a statue. But true Christians would not do it. They knew there is only one King, and His name is Jesus.
Therefore, salvation begins with faith, and faith must be held on to with courage. Believe in your heart, confess with your mouth, and stand firm no matter the cost.

One Nation, One Hope
As America celebrates its 250th birthday, let us pause with gratitude and remember the foundation from which our blessings flow.
From the beginning, America’s hope was placed in God. At Cape Henry, Virginia, the first permanent English settlers planted a cross and dedicated this land to Jesus Christ, the King of Kings. The Mayflower Compact, the first governing document of Plymouth Colony, was written in the name of God and for His glory.
That dedication is more than history; it is a reminder that our hope has always been found in seeking God. And it is an invitation for us to come before Him again today.
Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew 6:10, “Your kingdom come. Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” What a fitting prayer for this anniversary year! In heaven there is peace, righteousness, and love. Let us pray for heaven to touch America—our families, our churches, our communities, and our entire nation.
Prayer is not a ritual. It is coming to our Father, who loves us, hears us, and shows us mercy. When His people pray, God answers. He brings healing where there has been division, hope where there has been fear, and unity where hearts have grown distant.
Our task is not to condemn one another, but to bless, forgive, and seek God together.
We can ask the Lord to make the words of our pledge real: one nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.
So, let us rise every morning and worship Him, and continue in prayer as we go to bed at night. Let us ask Him to reignite faith in our generation—and bring His peace to our country and around the world. Let us humble ourselves and seek God, knowing that if we do, He will hear from heaven and heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14).
