COSTA RICA

• Because of our faithful partners, educators serving children in one of San José’s most violence-affected communities received hands-on Superbook Academy training. Last fall, the CBN Animation Superbook team equipped teachers at Cristo Para la Ciudad to deliver engaging, Gospel-centered lessons—empowering them to weave prayer, play, and passionate teaching into every classroom moment. Thanks to your support, these leaders now bring hope and spiritual guidance to at-risk students, inspiring the next generation with clarity and compassion.

INDIA

• Your partnership allowed CBN Hong Kong’s ministry to stretch across continents—touching hearts from Hong Kong to the United Kingdom. Churches and communities were encouraged to use Superbook as a dynamic tool for evangelism and outreach. Supporters like you helped believers complete Life Testimony Training, equipping them to share stories of God’s hope and love more powerfully. Because of your prayers and generosity, CBN’s films, teaching, and programs continue to open doors and change lives throughout Chinese-speaking communities worldwide.

PARTNERS BRING HOPE AND HEALING TO FAMILIES IN NEED

Learn how your support transformed desperation into dignity for struggling mothers like Phraewanit

As a single mother in Thailand, Phraewanit was caring for four children while selling fried chicken from a broken-down stall. Life was difficult—her small business barely earned enough, and her family often went hungry. With no freezer, she was unable to stock enough chicken, and the smoke from cooking drove customers away. Things looked bleak. And this hardworking mom was desperate.

But thanks to the generous support of caring partners, CBN’s Operation Blessing intervened. They renovated her stall, installed a fan to clear out smoke, and provided a freezer along with new supplies to help expand the shop’s menu. Phraewanit informed us that she now earns four times more, has paid off her debts, and her children no longer suffer hunger.

Phraewanit shared, “I am so grateful to everyone who helped me and my children. Thank you, and may God bless you!”

Thank you for changing lives with hope, healing, and provision—making stories like this possible.

A LOVE THAT HEALS THE SUFFERING

Despite medication, Laxmi in India suffered from intense seizures two to three times a day.

“I would fall to the ground, foam at the mouth, and violently shake,” she shared. “Sometimes, I would get cuts and other injuries from falling.”

Everything changed the day Laxmi’s parents enrolled her in an after-school program sponsored by Orphan’s Promise, a children’s ministry of Operation Blessing.

There, young Laxmi watched CBN Animation’s Superbook and learned about a blind man named Saul. Encouraged by the Lord’s healing power, Laxmi prayed for her own miracle.

Instead of having multiple seizures a day, Laxmi started having them only once or twice a month. And, eventually, they stopped altogether.

“Jesus Christ healed me!” Laxmi

A LOVE THAT REACHES EVERY NEED

Chanthla’s parents, who made a living by recycling trash in Cambodia, wanted nothing more than to send their 12-year-old son to school. But the uniform and monthly school fees were impossible to afford.

Instead of studying, Chanthla

helped gather cans and plastic just to put food on the table. Then, when he least expected it, a teacher invited him to a free School of Life program, which is now part of Operation Blessing.

Chanthla’s favorite subject quickly became the Bible lessons he learned through Superbook. The episode about Ruth opened his eyes to God’s unfailing love and inspired him to follow Christ.

A LOVE THAT RESTORES THE BROKENHEARTED

Lynne and her husband, Mike, had built a joyful life together in Idaho. Then, one day, Lynne’s doctor called her with devastating news: “Your test results show that you have lymphoma… and there is no cure.”

Lynne leaned on her husband for strength. But when she needed him most, tragedy struck again when he passed away during a fishing trip.

Alone in her grief, Lynne spiraled into months of crippling depression—until a friend invited her to church.

During an altar call, a woman prayed over Lynne, declaring, “God lives inside of you now. Cancer can’t live where God lives. So, go home and thank God every day for your healing.”

When the doctor later reviewed Lynne’s scans, the cancer was completely gone!

Lynne now serves in the healing ministry at her church, praying for others the way someone once prayed for her. “God heals broken hearts,” Lynne said. “He healed more than just sickness—He healed my soul.”

A LOVE THAT SPANS THE WORLD

Across our partner-supported outreaches—like The 700 Club, CBN.com, the CBN family app, and CBN’s 24-hour Prayer Center—God is planting seeds of faith in the hearts of those who have yet to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.

At the heart of these incredible stories are caring donors who bring hope to a hurting world through nourishing meals, clean water, medical care, disaster relief, and, most important, the life-transforming message of the Gospel.

This month, let us remember the profound truth found in 1 Corinthians 13:13 (nlt): Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.

A Heart for the Lost

Street ministry is one of my favorite things to do. Meeting people from all walks of life outdoors and sharing Jesus’ love with them is refreshing.

One day, I met a visibly stressed young mother walking with her small children. I stopped her and asked if I could pray for her. With great relief, she sighed and said, “How did you know I needed prayer and someone to talk to today?” I replied, “God knew, and I am happy to be the one to pray for you.”

After listening to her hardships, I shared my own struggles and how God rescued me. I then held her hand and prayed. Tears fell from her eyes as I led her and her children in a salvation prayer.

Luke 15:7 ( nlt ) tells us, “There is more joy in heaven over one lost sinner who repents and returns to God than over ninety-nine others who are righteous and haven’t strayed away!” Heaven rejoices when one person receives Jesus as their Savior. We should celebrate when the lost are found much like the father of the prodigal son who said, “We had to celebrate this happy day. For your brother was dead and has come back to life! He was lost, but now he is found!” (Luke 15:32).

Street ministry may not be your calling, but there is someone in your daily life such as a neighbor, friend, or fellow shopper who needs to hear about Jesus. Matthew 5:14 says, “You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.”

Pray for courage to share His love.

Q&A

Is it true that it’s important to break “soul ties” from abusive spouses? Is this supported by the Bible?

“Soul ties” is a term often used to describe the deep spiritual and emotional bonds that can form in close relationships. While Scripture doesn’t specifically mention “soul ties,” it does recognize how powerful these connections can be—especially when a relationship has been harmful or abusive. Many people repeat unhealthy patterns, hoping they can “fix” the past.

If you see a cycle of painful relationships, wise Christian counseling can help you gently break free from repeating those patterns. In the Bible, the focus isn’t just on cutting ties with another person, but inviting Jesus to heal and restore your heart so that you’re no longer trapped by old wounds. God’s desire is for you to walk in healing, forgiveness, and lasting freedom.

As Psalm 16:11 promises: You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy ( nkjv ). With Christ’s help, you truly can find new freedom and lasting joy.

Love That Draws the World to Christ

There seems to be a chronic shortage of love across our country and around the globe, with turmoil caused by anger, antisemitism, prejudice, and hatred. As Christians, however, we have unlimited access to an eternal fountain of love that never fails or runs dry.

We read in 1 John 4:7-8, Let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God. … Because God is love.

And that’s the love we need to share with our nation and the world today.

The Lord tells us in Hosea 6:6, “For I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, the knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.” The Hebrew word for “know” here means a very intimate knowledge, in which He wants to show His face to you. God then goes on to say in verse 7, “But like Adam they transgressed the covenant; there they dealt faithlessly with me.” Let’s not be like Adam and try to find excuses for the things that we have done wrong.

Instead, we need to turn to God and ask Him to search our hearts. Are we truly showing love to people—and not just to those who love us or are like us?

For Jesus plainly tells us, “Love your enemies! … In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:44-45 nlt).

So let’s come to the Lord humbly, confessing our sins and asking Him to forgive, cleanse, heal, and restore us. May He renew His covenant with us, lift up His countenance on us, be merciful and gracious to us, cause His face to shine upon us, and give us His peace. And may He use us to share His love with all the world, that people everywhere may come to know Him. God bless you!
