Shay Lee’s world was once a blur. Born with cornea problems, she struggled to read and concentrate at school. Her widowed mother tried every treatment possible, but nothing worked.
For five long years, Shay Lee waited on a transplant list, her hope fading as donor corneas remained scarce in South Africa.
Everything changed when CBN’s Operation Blessing, with the help of compassionate partners, stepped in to import a donor cornea from the U.S. Thanks to this incredible support, Shay Lee received her life-changing surgery.
Just two weeks later, she exclaimed, “Mommy, I have never seen so well before.” Now, for the first time, she can see clearly, both near and far, and is filled with hope for a brighter future.

When powerful tornadoes tore through Laurel County, Kentucky, devastation struck in an instant. Homes were shredded, power lines toppled, and families stepped out of the wreckage to find their lives changed forever. The heartbreak was immense—injuries, darkness, and uncertainty surrounded the survivors. Yet, in the midst of this chaos, hope began to shine, thanks to the unwavering support of compassionate partners like you.
Within hours of the disaster, the U.S. disaster relief team from CBN’s Operation Blessing arrived with truckloads of emergency supplies and a heartfelt prayer: “Lord, show us where to serve.” Guided by local churches and leaders, the team quickly set up a mobile kitchen at the heart of the hardest-hit area, thanks to the help of Souls Harbor Church, WB Transport, and the personal involvement of Mayor Randall, who said, “Without God, we’re not going to get through this. And without organizations like Operation Blessing, we couldn’t begin to heal.”
Operation Blessing has since served thousands of hot meals, deployed cleanup crews to clear dangerous debris, and offered prayer support to families who lost everything.
“We’re not just dropping off supplies. We’re meeting people face to face, praying with them, and reminding them that God sees them,” shared Kevin, the team leader.
Local volunteers—school staff, church members, and neighbors—joined in, delivering food and comfort.
Together, with your support, Operation Blessing is helping places like Kentucky heal—one hot meal, one prayer, and one act of kindness at a time. Thank you for making recovery possible!

Model, a young Buddhist girl living with her grandparents after being abandoned by her mother, first heard about God through the Superbook episode “In the Beginning.” Invited by a Christian neighbor to church, Model watched the story and prayed with her Sunday school teacher to become a Christian.
As Model and her grandparents faced hardships—her grandmother losing her job and her grandfather struggling to keep his taxi—they turned to prayer and Superbook stories like “Miracles of Jesus.” Their faith was strengthened as God answered their prayers, restoring her grandmother’s job and providing financial help for her grandfather. Just Passing Through

God is worthy of our praise regardless of what we go through. Difficulties, hardships, and trials are temporary. Even when there is no end in sight, that end will come.
But now, O Jacob, listen to the Lord who created you. O Israel, the one who formed you says, “Do not be afraid, for I have ransomed you. I have called you by name; you are mine. When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.” (Isaiah 43:1-2 nlt)
When you go through deep waters… when you go through rivers of difficulty… when you walk through the fire of oppression. Those deep waters, rivers of difficulty, and fires of oppression are only temporary. Although it may seem like there is no end in sight, it is there. You are only passing through!
No matter what comes your way, God remains the same, and He will take care of you. The Bible tells us not to be afraid because God is with us. He is on our side. He fights for us. He works all things for our good, and He always keeps His promises. These aren’t platitudes; they are biblical truths to hold onto.
Father God, thank You for Your faithfulness—even when the situation looks hopeless. You are my hope, and I will choose to trust You and praise You in those moments when I am passing through. In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.

Genesis 2:24 says, Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and they shall become one flesh. But the New Testament says there is no marriage in heaven. Are men and women still considered one flesh in heaven?
In the Old Testament, we read that a husband and wife become “one flesh”—a beautiful picture of unity and family here on earth. But Jesus tells us in Matthew 22:30, “For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage.”
Instead, we’ll be like the angels, each with our own identity before God. That’s why marriage vows say, “Until death do us part.” The covenant ends in this life.
Sometimes we focus only on the romantic or physical side of “one flesh,” but God’s design is bigger. Through marriage, a husband and wife create children—expressions of their unity, carrying both their genetics and spiritual legacy. That’s the lasting impact God desires: generations who know Him.
While you won’t be “one flesh” with your spouse in heaven, your children will be with you. The relationships and spiritual legacy you build here have eternal significance. So, cherish your family, knowing God’s purpose for marriage points to something even greater in His kingdom.

Pray Until the Breakthrough
How often should you pray for the same thing? The Bible shows us two approaches.
In Mark 11, Jesus speaks to a fig tree once, which withers from the roots. Then in verse 23 He says, “Whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed …,’ and does not doubt in his heart … he will have whatever he says.”
That’s the power of believing you’ve already received.
But in Luke 18:1-8, Jesus tells a parable so that we “always ought to pray and not lose heart.”
It’s the story of the persistent widow who keeps coming to the judge until he gives her justice. And Jesus explains that if even an unjust judge will respond, how much more will God, who loves us, respond to His people who cry out day and night?
So, which is right? Both are.
Sometimes the answer comes quickly. But when it doesn’t, keep praying. Stay in constant communication with the Lord, because He is the source of everything—life, faith, and power. And while you’re praying, stay expectant. Don’t lose heart. Don’t give up. Your breakthrough may be just on the other side of one more prayer, one more moment of faith.
Jesus promises in Matthew 7:7-8, “Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.”
So, whether you’re praying once or persevering for days, weeks, or even years, pray in faith. Then, when the answer comes, give thanks and rejoice in what the Lord has done.
