PHILIP IN FOCUS

At the start of this episode, we see Chris trying out his dad’s new invention that will build homes for the poor, but Chris has better ideas for the invention. He wants to use it to build the biggest tree house his friends have ever seen! Then Superbook takes them To meet Philip, a disciple who has led many people to Jesus. When Peter and John pray for people to receive the Holy Spirit, a magician is so amazed that he wants to buy this power for money. The magician is soon put in his place by Peter who tells the magician that he can never buy the power of the Holy Spirit.

Chris, Joy and Gizmo soon learn that what we use power for and why we use power is more important than power itself. WATCH

Me and my team recently got back from the Big Church Festival. We had an incredible time! While we were there, we looked at the episode Phillip. In this episode Chris and Joy learn about how the power of the Holy Spirit is for true followers of Jesus and how the Holy Spirit can empower us. I wonder, have you ever asked God to help you and felt stronger because of your prayer?

The Holy Spirit is an incredible gift from God and anyone who believes in Him can receive His amazing gifts. The Bible tells us that even when we are young, we can do incredible things with God. Take a look at this verse from 1 Timothy 4:12 - “You are young, but do not let anyone treat you as if you were not important. Be an example to show the believers how they should live. Show them with your words, with the way you live, with your love, with your faith, and with your pure life.”

Remember if you are unsure of any of these words, ask a trusted adult what they mean.
