I am reminded of a day in the life of the LORD Jesus while on earth. He had just sailed with his disciples to the country of the Gadarenes and as he climbed out of the boat, a man possessed by an evil spirit came out from the tombs to meet him. This man lived in the burial caves and could no longer be restrained, even with a chain. Whenever he was put into chains and shackles as he often was he snapped the chains from his wrists and smashed the shackles. No one was strong enough to subdue him. Day and night he wandered among the burial caves and in the hills, howling and cutting himself with sharp stones.

Jesus set him free from the power of the demons that had possessed him. And as Jesus was getting into the boat, to return, the man who had been demon-possessed begged to go with him. But Jesus said, “No, go home to your family, and tell them everything the Lord has done for you and how

merciful he has been.” So, the man started off to visit the Ten Towns of that region and began to proclaim the great things Jesus had done for him, and everyone was amazed at what he told them.

When Jesus got to the other side of the lake, he healed a woman who had suffered for twelve years from constant bleeding. Shortly after, he brought a dead girl back to life.

These three people experienced Jesus’ mighty power to intervene and turn their destinies around. Dear partner, this same Jesus who wrought these miracles in Mark chapter 5 is still able and willing to turn your life around and recover your destiny.

This month’s publication includes the story of an orphan who received a new purpose in life. It also features our new programme, “Viral Virtue Show” with each episode designed to bring virtues and values to our viewers and society.

I pray that as you read this edition of Frontlines Africa, you will experience the restoring power of God in your life.

Yours in God’s vineyard,

Dare is a towering guy whose stern exterior masks the quiet pain of domestic violence. He has been trained to believe that men should not show vulnerability, so he endures years of abuse from Eva. Eva’s seemingly modest physical stature betrays the terrible suffering she inflicts through sexual, verbal, and financial mistreatment. Dare's metamorphosis from an outgoing university student into a man of few words is a striking picture of the mental struggles he experiences daily.

idea how to because no one is talking to her or giving her directions on how to go about it.

Bumi and Olamide have been married for twelve years and are blessed with three beautiful children. However, as their story progresses, the warmth of their companionship fades, leaving Bumi lonely. Olamide's professional achievements provide financial stability but weaken their emotional bond. The complexity of their marriage exposes the void within Bumi and the temptations of extramarital affairs to fill the void and quench the feelings of loneliness and rejection that engulf her soul. Though she has proposed in her heart to stay faithful to her marital vows, the pressure still weighs heavily on her. Tara was raised in a culture that

Destiny Isaac– Built to Build

In his spare moments, Destiny finds solace and joy in crafting intricate buildings from nothing more than cardboard boxes. "I didn't learn this from anyone; it just came to me one day, and I started," he shares, reflecting on his passion.

Destiny is among the thirty-seven children receiving support from CBN's Orphan's Promise at the Facado Orphanage in Nigeria. Ngozi, his house mother, recounts the day Destiny first arrived. "When he was three years old, his biological mother took him to the market and left him there," she explains, her voice filled with empathy. "The police did everything they could to find his parents, but to no avail.”

Subsequently, Destiny was placed in Ngozi's care at the children's home, where he initially grappled with fear and a sense of loss. "He was terrified and destructive at first," Ngozi recalls. "With the word of God and prayer, we started to see him grow and slowly transform into the boy he is today."

Grateful for the guidance and support he's received, Destiny shares, "I've learned so much from her. She is the one that led me to Christ." With newfound faith, he has discovered peace and hope, refraining from questioning the circumstances of his past. "I have so much peace and hope," he affirms. "I don't question God about my past because He destined me to grow up here."

Ngozi beams with pride as she reflects on Destiny's journey. "I am so proud of Destiny, with Orphan's Promise's support, he has two more years until he graduates secondary school. He is doing very well with his studies."

Destiny envisions a future where he can give back to his community. "My dream is to one day buy land and build houses and churches for the poor," he shares earnestly.

Expressing his heartfelt gratitude to those who support Orphan's Promise, Destiny concludes, "To everyone who supports Orphan's Promise, I want to say a very big 'Thank you.' May God bless you all for taking such good care of me."
