First Day of School | Wednesday, August 12: Classes will begin at 8:30 a.m., and school will be dismissed at 2:40 p m
Parent/Guardian Coffee | Wednesday, August 12 from 7:45 to 8:45 a.m.: Stop for coffee outside of the cafeteria. Meet President Dr. Perry, Principal Cecilia Powers, members of our LPA and other CB parents before jumping into your day
Community Liturgy | Thursday, August 13 at 11:30 am: Parents and family of members of CB are welcome to attend This will be our first community Mass of the school year
From the Dean’s Office
FINAL FORMS! Please complete your enrollment in Final Forms, and have your student complete there portions *NOTE students will need to have their own email in the system. Please also review the Parent Student Handbook, which can be found in Final Forms, and let us know if you have any questions.
Arrival and Departure: In the mornings, students may arrive on campus no earlier than 7:30 a.m. which is when our Learning Commons opens, and our adult supervision of campus begins. Dismissal is at 2:40 p.m , and we recommend you pick up 15-20 minutes after dismissal to let school clear out and avoid frustration with our many student drivers After dismissal the learning commons remains open until 5 p.m. The office and front gate close at 4pm so if you plan to pick up after that, you should do so via the student parking lot outside of Falcon Plaza where students will be asked to wait
Dress Code: Please see the attached dress code guide and refer to the Parent Student If you have any specific dress code questions, please feel free to ask us after the presentation.
Locks and Lockers: School issued Locks must be purchase it at student store only Please do not bring locks from home. Also students must use lockers assigned to them until they are informed of the process of how to switch lockers, which will at the beginning of September
Parking Permits: Parking Permits are required to park anywhere on campus including in the parking areas outside the gates Permits are only issued to students with a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance. Because of limited space, parking permits are limited to one per household. Parking Permits are available to purchase online Students can go to the front office to pick up their permit, with proof of purchase, on or after August 8. If students are caught parking on campus without a Parking Permit, they will be issued a parking violation. For questions regarding parking permits, contact Kelly Harrington at 916-733-3625
Lockers: Each student is assigned a locker number which is stored in PowerSchool. Students who plan to use their locker must purchase a school-issued lock sold at the student store Be sure to use your assigned locker! Items place in the wrong locker will be removed and brought to the Dean’s office.

Preapproved Absence Forms: If students are going to be absent and you are aware ahead of time please have them stop by the counselling office and pickup a preapproved absence form and have them fill it out and turn it in one week prior to the absence.

Fare-Free transit for youth. Students can ride into the new school year for FREE with RydeFreeRT Youth can ride the entire SacRT transit network, including SacRT buses, light rail and SmaRT Ride ondemand microtransit services for FREE. Cards are available in the front office.
Counseling Department
Class changes: Changes must be requested in person by meeting with the grade-level counselor and completing a Course Transfer Request Form. A fee of $20 will be required to process most changes. No schedule changes will be accepted after 3:00 p m on Friday, August 21 Requests based on teacher preference will not be considered.
Seniors: SAT school day exam is Monday, October 12th at 8 a m Registration and payment must be completed through this link: https://secure acceptiva com/?cst=9okETN
Seniors: Application workshops will be held each Thursday through the fall semester at 7:45 a.m. and after school/Falcon Flex College Counselors will be available to answer questions, review essays, and assist with completing all application types.
