His responsibilities include collaborating with the executive coordinator for the thriving of CBFNC churches and clergy, developing innovative ministry with young adults and college students, and starting new faith communities and partnering with CBFNC ministry staff.

SAM HARRELL is the executive director of Africa Exchange, an organization he and his wife Melody founded to create partnerships with rural communities in Kenya to enhance local capacity, protect vulnerable children and preserve fragile environments. Sam has lived most of his life in Kenya and works with a Kenyan staff to expand the work, now in 15 communities across the country. Africa Exchange is an engagement partner of CBF.

JESSICA HEARNE is currently serving as Cooperative Baptist Fellowship Field Personnel with Grace and Main Fellowship in Danville, VA. Jessica manages Grace and Main’s Urban Farm and Tool Library, which provides fresh food, gardening education, and free access to tools for people living in their neighborhoods.

DANE JACKSON is the minister to students & their families at Providence Baptist, Charlotte. Dane is currently pursuing a Doctor of Ministry in Youth, Family, and Culture at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California. Dane enjoys baseball, legos, and tacos.
