NETWORK2023 PRESIDENT’S LETTER
Where do you find your inspiration?
There are many places to find inspiration, but one place that I find great inspiration is from attending industry events, especially NETWORK, our association’s premier conference.
Once again, we have assembled a committee of volunteer members to work with us to develop a strong, exciting, and diverse educational program being offered this year in Orlando.
Seven strong educational sessions presented by highly regarded thought-leaders and panelists are sure to create takeaways well worth your time. In addition to this strong educational program, we are again delivering the highly popular Great Ideas Roundtable Sessions where the standing-room-only audience last year in Chicago received more than 70 best practice ideas to improve their businesses and bottom lines.
This strong educational offering is just the beginning of the value of attending NETWORK. There are 10 networking events to gain insight and inspiration from the largest gathering of participants from all industry segments. From leading distributors, manufacturers and manufacturers’ rep firms, NETWORK provides you and your team an unequaled opportunity to strengthen your business and get rejuvenated. Last year, 850 owners, CEOs and professionals from nearly 300 leading firms attended, making NETWORK2022 a winning event.
NETWORK2023 in Orlando will once again be a can’t-miss opportunity for you and your team — one that we hope you will make a priority to attend.
I look forward to seeing you in Orlando to celebrate our industry together.
This is our moment!
Sincerely,

FEATURED SPEAKER CAPTAIN RICHARD PHILLIPS
An amazing leader...a highly intriguing story...a presentation of remarkable impact. Captain Phillips will not only share his compelling story, but as a “floating CEO” in charge of the day-today operations of a multi-million dollar ship and the crew he managed, he also draws lessons from those dramatic events that can help you and your organization survive and thrive, even in these times when hope and support seem to be in very short supply. He will discuss the vital importance of leadership and teamwork, combined with a belief in the power and potential of yourself and your team, as seen through the eyes of an unassuming hero who conquered an extraordinary challenge. This “Hero of the High Seas” has a powerful and timely message that will dramatically energize and inform you and your team.

FEATURED SPEAKER ROBERT O’NEILL
Learn from the man who had Osama Bin Laden in his sights and led the team that killed him. When Senior Chief Special Warfare Operator Robert J. O’Neill was a SEAL Team Six leader, he led extractions under enemy fire, tailed terrorists for days, and snuck onto land to meet with sources. His training taught him to be resourceful and make good decisions no matter the circumstances. Now he shares his lessons from these experiences to show you how to achieve what may seem impossible and become the best version of yourself. Based on his book The Way Forward: Master Life’s Toughest Battles and Create Your Lasting Legacy, Robert O’Neill offers audiences a deeper look into how to use hard-earned lessons from both his time in combat and his personal life to accomplish their goals, overcome adversity, and discover the hero within you.

OUR VISION:
InSinkErator® Manufacturing Improvements
InSinkErator strives to invest in its people and facilities by renovating its 55+ years old production facility into an engineered assembly process driven by robots and advanced technology. This has enabled fabrication improvements and allowed for outsourced components to feed assembly lines to support greater production capacity. The facility is capable of producing over 35,000 household disposers per day. In addition, InSinkErator built a new state-of-theart world-class 87,000-square-foot headquarters in Mount Pleasant, WI. Built as a LEED-certified green building, the new space features an open-office concept with an abundance of natural lighting, a workout facility, an outdoor walking track, spacious cafe areas, focus rooms, and casual meeting places – all of which help create an enjoyable, creative, and collaborative work environment.
InSinkErator has restructured its distribution facility to support space effectiveness & space expansion by implementing VNA (very narrow aisles) & increasing the number of dock doors. Additionally, the new TMS (transportation management system) and enhanced tow motors enable better logistics flow and product distribution. The pandemic has forced manufacturing to change at an unprecedented rate, and the company’s manufacturing and distribution facilities have responded with improvements that make the brand more sustainable and resilient. InSinkErator continues to lead the industry in innovating the best products for customers, professionals, and homeowners.
