Why I Give “Giving to CBC in honor of my mother is a way for me to continue her legacy of strength and resilience. She returned to college after my dad died suddenly at a young age to take care of my sisters and me. Mom earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees and was on the faculty at CBC for nearly 20 years. I’m grateful that I can help make college possible for others who are facing difficult circumstances.”
