HELP PROVIDE PATIENTS WITH VITAL DENTAL CARE

Dental hygiene therapy costs prevent many people from going to the dentist until something hurts – by then, it might be too late to save a tooth, or there is a bigger problem.

CBC’s Dental Hygiene program launched the Patient Care Fund $100 Club in late 2021 to help low-income and uninsured patients receive care and provide students with valuable training. Willamette Dental Group and Legends Casino generously donated to kick off the program.

Now we need your help. A $100 donation helps fund initial dental hygiene services for one patient with periodontitis. Plus, all $100 Club members will be recognized in our dental hygiene clinic and at our graduates’ pinning ceremony.

For the first time in two years, we celebrated CBC graduates at a single commencement ceremony. The milestone event was on June 17 at Edgar Brown Stadium. Congratulations to the nearly 1,500 Hawks who graduated. You’ve persevered through challenging years and accomplished your goals.

Student Recreation Center Opens CBC’s new 80,0000-square-foot Student Recreation Center opened on May 31! The student-funded rec center provides modern facilities with more gym space for student-athletes, intramural sports, regional tournaments and events. It also features amenities, activities and indoor and outdoor spaces that will help promote the well-being of everyone at the College.
