This year we are celebrating our firm's six-year milestone, which causes us to reflect on the privilege of working with with so many remarkable individuals over the last several years. Our top priority from day one has been providing excellent legal support to clients throughout South Carolina—past, present, and future—ensuring they receive the representation they not only need but truly deserve, both inside and outside the courtroom. One of the more rewarding aspects of being able to look back over several years of service to clients is realizing the many folks we are now able to keep up with directly and through ongoing emails and newsletters. While your case may be over, and we hope you yourself will not need our services again, we are always honored when a former client or their friends, family, or coworkers reach out to us for help after an injury.

Additionally, we proudly continue our community-centric initiatives, fostering partnerships with local non-profits and schools to make a positive impact. We hope you enjoy catching up with some of our activities from 2023, and we sincerely thank you for being part of our journey and wish you a healthy and prosperous 2024.

SNEAKERS FOR STUDENTS 300+ SNEAKERS GIVEN TO STUDENTS

We are thrilled to announce that we teamed up with Hyatt Park Elementary, a Title I school with 347 amazing students, to make a BIG difference in their lives. This year, we gifted each and every student a brand new pair of sneakers. This initiative extends beyond the legal realm, emphasizing our dedication to positive change within our local community. By providing footwear to these students, we aim not only to address practical needs but also to instill confidence, comfort, and a sense of support. As we reflect on this event, we look forward to a year filled with more opportunities to contribute meaningfully, create smiles, and make a lasting impact in the communities we proudly serve.

This year, Founder and Partner Eric Cavanaugh was invited to present to hundreds of attorneys across the United States and beyond. He shared valuable insights on how law firm owners can help their clients and make positive contributions to the community at large.

We are honored to participate in events like these where we are able to relate our experiences and learn from other lawyers who share our commitment to providing excellent service to their clients.

SECOND ANNUAL OYSTER ROAST Last October, we collaborated with Cromer, Babb, Porter & Hicks to host an event that invites South Carolina attorneys, judges, and commissioners to gather for a night of fellowship, good food, and music.

This year's event took place at our local Columbia office. We are always grateful for opportunities to build relationships within the legal community and for the many people who come together to make events like this possible through their help planning and, of course, participation.

Yes, under South Carolina law you may be entitled to file a claim for emotional trauma resulting from an accident depending on the specifics of your case. Typically, emotional pain and suffering is only one form of damages you seek compensation for within your overall personal injury claim, frequently in addition to compensation for physical injuries, medical expenses, lost wages, property damage, and more. NEW FACES AROUND THE OFFICE Violet Carr - Law Clerk Violet joined our team during the summer of 2022, initially serving as our Intake Coordinator. Since then, she has transitioned into the role of Law Clerk while completing her third and final year of law school at the University of South Carolina. In her role, Violet collaborates closely with our attorneys, providing invaluable support in legal research.

Her dedication and contributions have been instrumental to our team, and we are excited to have her on board.
