What I can say with certainty, is that it has provided for some of the best cricket entertainment during the 2017 season, with a number of nailbiting finishes in the games played.

There are five leagues, and three cup competitions that run throughout the summer - The Addison Cup, CB

Atkinson Trophy, and the George Greaves Cup. All of which, I have had the pleasure of covering for the past few years.

The shot opposite was taken near the end of the season at Knaresborough Forest’s ground, a wonderful club nestled in by the river and overlooked by a pub.

The photo is of one of the pub patrons watching the game from the balcony, silhouetted by the evening sun in one of the screens.
