Anyone not wanting to take their bulls after the sale can make arrangements with the breeder to keep the bulls at a cost of $4.00 per day after April 1, 2026. ALL BULLS RETURNING TO THE BREEDER MUST BE INSURED. The bulls will be housed at the buyer’s risk. The breeders will not be responsible for any type of injury while the bulls are in their care.
Terms: The terms of the sale are cash or check. All monies are in Canadian funds. The right of property shall not pass until after settlement has been made. All settlements must be made with the clerk before any cattle will be release.
Disputes: Every animal sells to the highest bidder and in the case of disputes, the auctioneer’s decision will be final. Announcements from the auction block take precedence over the printed matter in the catalog.
Purchaser’s Risk: Each animal becomes the risk of the purchaser as soon as sold. Insurance will be available sale day.
Breeder’s Guarantee: All bulls have been registered, unless indicated in the catalog, and papers will be transferred to the new owner. All bulls sold are guaranteed to the standard breed association guarantees. In no event shall the seller be responsible for reimbursing more than the purchase price.
Liabilities: All persons attend the sale at their own risk. The sellers and/or sales staff assume no liability, legal or otherwise, for accidents that occur in, on, or about the premises.
Age Verification: All cattle at the sale are age verified.
Trucking: Cattle can leave that day and please make arrangements to do so. If you are unable to truck any cattle on sale day, please contact the particular breeder and arrangements can be made to load cattle the following day.

elcome to the 19th edition of our bull sale. We really appreciate the interest in our program. We are grateful for all our past buyers and bidders. We look forward to meeting with you at the sale, or in the corral viewing the bulls prior to the sale.
We really believe this is our strongest set of bulls on offer yet. Once again, we have bulls off our 3 main herdsires, IPU 1G Potent 17K, IPU 116G Top Tier 26J and Ultra Freedom 88K. We also have a few off a new herdsire, BEE Stanley 033K. IPU 17K has been a super consistent sire giving his progeny a balanced set of EPD’s, muscle and shape. IPU 26J has given us some calving ease without losing any performance and giving his progeny super thickness and moderate frames. BEE 033K was our new heifer bull. We didn’t get many calves off him, but I think the few we did, are a pretty solid set.
The bulls are fed a textured ration from Trouw Nutrition as well as free choice hay. They are not over pushed. The bulls are in really good shape and are athletic. We don’t creep feed these bulls, so the weaning weights are just from some really good grass this past summer and milk.
Welcome to the MCG Simmental and Tempest Red Angus bull sale. I’d like to thank the Brown family for having me be a part of their sale again and I’d also like to thank all the buyers from previous years for investing confidence in my breeding program for your bull power. It is exciting to see producers being rewarded with record prices across all classes of cattle this past fall and heading into spring. What a time to retain heifers and grow the herd! I’ve built these genetics focusing on calving ease, calf vigour and maternal power without sacrificing performance and feel like this is the strongest set of bulls I’ve had to offer.

The bulls are on a full health program. We work with Dr. Jordon Holt and Dr. Heath Mcleod at Eastern Slopes Veterinary Services of the bull’s health program right from birth to semen testing.
We would be happy to bring the bulls home after the sale and we will feed them free of charge until April 1. At that time, we will begin delivering the bulls at our convenience.

This is the first set of sons to sell off of a new herdsire, LSCC Lightyear 117L, who adds length and power to his progeny while maintaining moderate birthweights. A direct son of Seneca 731C, Lightyear 117L started at 77lbs and boasted an impressive 924lb actual weaning weight; he’s a unique herdbull with curve-bending potential.
I’ve scored them on a calving score again this year to assist with buying decisions.

This is the second set of bulls sired by LWNBRG Dually 179K and have more hitting the ground now. They were very popular last year and continue to impress. First daughters are calving with impressive confirmation and milking. Don’t hesitate to use these Dually bulls on heifers and keep the daughters. Consistent, low maintenance genetics is what you’ll get from him.
All bulls are summered on dry native pasture without creep. After weaning they’re fed a high roughage cereal silage ration. They will be at the sale in working condition without being pushed. All bulls are on a Zoetis full herd health program, including footrot vaccine. They are semen tested prior to sale and sold with a full guarantee. Can return home until May 1st and be delivered free of charge. Buyers taking bulls home the day of the sale will receive $250/ bull off the purchase price.

Dark Cherry Red, deep and thick. He is probably the longest spined bull in the pen. He has a large scrotal. We purchased this bull’s mother from Red Top Livestock. She has been an amazing addition to the herd. We have a full sister to this bull in our herd. We really like the Roosevelt daughters. They are hardworking girls.

Here is a bull out of a first calf heifer and she has also done a whale of a job on this bull. You can’t ask these first calf heifers to do more than what she has already done. With an actual September 1st weaning weight of 861 lbs, I’d say she did amazingly well. He is a nice attractive Blaze face bull with a ton of muscle shape. His mother is a heifer we purchased from Beechinor Bros. And, being sired by the ever so popular calving ease Perks Red Wolf 44G bull.

We had issues with our heifer bull back when these 1st calf heifers were being bred, therefore we ended up having to use our IPU 17K bull to cover them. Again, this is another on of those later Feb bulls. We cannot complain about how nice and easy they calved out of 17K. I think that these younger bulls will catch up nicely to their older brothers.
This bull is his mother’s first calf, and did she ever knock it out of the park with him. He is performed well in the pen and he is super docile. He is just a solid, nicely put together bull. He is Grady’s 2nd bull on offer. Don’t miss this bull sale day.

She has a nice udder and super disposition. And being homo polled and a non-diluter is just the icing on the cake.

Here is a chunk of a bull. He has that bit of chrome on his face that really makes him attractive. He has a ton of meat in him and will produce those high performing calves.
