Welcome to Doenz Ranches
As cattle producers, we know firsthand the ups and downs this industry has handed us. It hasn’t always been easy—but it’s the challenges that sharpen us, remind us why we do what we do, and prove the grit of true cattlemen. Today, we’re proud to say this is one of the strongest sets of bulls and females we’ve ever offered. They represent years of breeding decisions, long days, and a shared belief that better cattle build a better future. This business requires every one of us to be at the top of our game. It takes persistence, dedication, and the kind of work ethic that doesn’t back down when things get tough. We’ve pushed hard to raise cattle that can go out and work for you—functional, profitable, and backed by cow families that stand the test of time.
We invite you to join us here at the ranch in Warner, AB on December 4th, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. Come early, have lunch with us, and take some time to walk through the pens. We’re excited to visit with you, to talk cattle, and to keep building this business alongside people who share the same passion for progress.
Videos of the offering will be available online through CattleVids, with bidding available on DLMS for those unable to attend in person. We’re also offering a payment option of half cash on sale day and the balance due June 1, 2026.
Hope to see you then!
Brad, Veronica, Jordy & Branson Doenz

The high selling sire in the 2021 Ellingson Sale, Badlands exemplifies maternal, performance and phenotypic excellence. You will appreciate how he ties together tremendous center body mass and base width with a sound structural design and a proud stride. He came off his dam weighing 900 pounds and earning a 111 nursing ratio. His donor dam is a member of one of the greatest flushes ever produced at Ellingsons. We are beyond excited to have a strong offering of his sons!

Badger is wide based, has a superior foot, lots of eye appeal and is packed with meat and muscle. We used Badger to bring performance to a new degree of likeness and an EPD spread that counts! He will sire real life performance cattle that will last!

The high selling Badlands son of the 2023 Ellingson sale. He has a look, free moving and exceptional foot quality to him. His calves here, like Unchartered himself, exhibit base width, foot quality and thickness that have great style and catch your eye.
When Brad went to look at the 2024 offering at HF, We really had in mind to get a Hi-Range son that we could use on heifers. This guy has some very distinct sons in the offering. All showing great spring and depth of rib and thick as thick over the top as any of the great ones and they sure have grown well here.

MUSGRAVE 316 COLOSSAL 137
Unmatched bold robust rib structure and mass with an exceptional calving ease. He’s an LD Capitalist son who was widely used for his performance and easy calving. His females have amazing feet and udders. We’ve never had an easier calving bull than him with adding growth and muscle.

BIG RIVER 0052
This guy gave us some great markers for the bull calves here- 86 lb. birth weight combined with a 1006 lb. weaning weight and a 42cm scrotal as a yearling, backed by his powerful donor dam at Ellingson Ranch. Big River’s progeny have explosive body capacity, ample bone, structural soundness and fluid mobility.
We were introduced to 12K’s sire- Bear Creek Stoney himself and his progeny at a field tour in Saskatchewan and felt that he could offer so much good to the angus breed. We found 12K is one that we are happy with here. He’s marked each of his calves just like him with a moderate frame that packs on the muscle with exceptional hoof structure and is very easy fleshing. Every one of 12K’s sons you can pick out a mile away. They have big, round, smooth, well muscled hind quarters with a great sized hoof. I know you’ll like the look of these guys here. We also have our own home raised son to 12K that will have progeny in next year’s sale.

LCI 121H KARTER 66K
LCI 106A ACTION LASS 216C
Nice frame and bone to this guy that carries a great balance and smooth muscle expression. Great strong foot under this guy that will get out and cover ground easily. He has decent carcass traits too with top 20% for REA EPD and 15% for marbling. Recommend for heifers

Nice moderate framed bull here. He had a rough start to life being premature but was given the right environment to grow and fits the role here. You have to appreciate his depth in his flank and hind quarter. You can have an easier calving from him and still get good performance on calves. Recommend for heifers

This bull is a moderate, well-balanced and practical kind of sire- thick made, strong over his top and deep through his middle. He’s got structural soundness and muscle shape that make his kind last in a herd and work in the real world.
Recommend for heifers

Nothing lacking on this frame. He’ll bring you calves that’ll wean well after growing strong on some hard grass. 15J sire and a Crossover cow that is one of the good ones that won’t disappoint with females either.

A more moderate framed bull but has a balanced profile. This is a real unique pedigree to us. He’s out of a Rewind cow with Warrior on the top side. Both sides have left us with some great females.

LCI 157K MASTERY 23M
Full horned pedigree here with the old 157K as sire- tried, tested and true. Super length of spine and well muscled hip with a great foot. Dam 5F has a great udder on her that I’d love to see on the horned cattle. This guy should improve udders and feet.

Hard to part with this heifer. She’s out of a young Rewind cow who we just love for how soft and smooth she is with a great udder. This heifer has the right making to be a good one! She has great length of spine and depth of body and I love the pigment she has and out of Masterplan! The mature daughter’s we have seen of Masterplan are powerhouse females with great carcass numbers.
