HEIFERS Commercial

Lot: 64 Lot: 65

Desertland Cattle Company Heifers

This is the first time we have put some white heifers up for offer. These are mainly all purebreds from our April/May calving program but will not be sold with papers. They come from very functional, good-uddered, white cows. We try to keep the moderate so these should make 1500lb cows when they mature. There are no brands on these heifers, and will be vaccinated ready for breeding.

Wildflower Angus Heifers

We have a couple different groups of heifers on offer. The one package will be purebreds but will not be sold with papers. They will be sisters of our Pen of 3 Heifers that we showed at Oyen Beef Expo. Everything in this group will go back to the Hamilton Farms breeding on the sire side. The other group of heifers will be from our commercial herd. They are mainly Angus based with some Shorthorn in their background. All come from good-uddered cows. Heifers sell with no brands and will be vaccinated ready for breeding.

Roth Farms Heifers

Here at Roth Ranches we are 3rd generation ranchers located at Loyalist, Alberta. We run a commercial herd of approximately 300 head of cows, mostly Red Angus and Simmental mothers. Lately, Trent has introduced some black cows to the herd. We have been using Charolais bulls since Blaine’s dad started buying them 45-50 years ago. We find these Charolais cross calves always bring a premium and are in demand, we also find they make good replacement heifers as we continue to raise our own. We continue

Lot: 66 to support the local Charolais breeders as their bulls seem to be as good as any we have found. We thank Desertland Cattle for the opportunity to showcase our cattle and sell some heifers at their sale. These heifers sell with no brands and will be vaccinated and ready for breeding.
